"Are you sure about this Ink?"

"Yea, let's fucking do this thing!"

Error gripped Ink's hand.

The VOID looming below Outertale didn't seem to be scary anymore.

In unison, they stepped forward.

Error got one last glance at the stars he used to love.

~~~~~
The VOID took its chance to nip at their bones before they were taken into DESTINY's embrace.
They made some changes that would help the two in this new world.
"...oh I forgot about that, this is going to be confusing for them..."
~~~~~

Ink woke up to find himself laying on top of Error.

Wait... Is that Error? No... No, that is Error...

What the fuck...

He was still sitting atop the Human Error-lookalike.

They had blue-ish black hair tied back into a man-bun, the sides of their head were shaved. They had Error's bright blue strings that contrasted well against their dark skin. They were adorned in Error's hobo clothes. Their fingers were tinted yellow and red like Error's bones, so were their legs.

Holdup... If he looks like that...

Ink looked down.

He had his clothes still but his sash was missing.

How did he still have emotions then?

He pulled a brush out of one of his pockets and painted a small mirror.

He'd have to ask Error once he wakes up to confirm.

Ink still didn't know why he couldn't use blue magic.

He picked it up. His reflection showed a human with white hair, the front was rainbow in pastels. Like 'Error' his head was shaved but, only on one side. He still had his tattoos although, they looked more faded. His eyes still changed every time he blinked.

With a sigh, he looked back at Error.

He had forgotten he was sitting on top of him.

"Are you done looking at yourself in the mirror?"

"Nah, you're a comfy chair."

Error groaned before throwing Ink off of his back.

"I figured something out while you were distracted."

"What's that?"

"I have reason to believe we are in another universe."

Error said motioning to himself.

"And that we have been turned into women."

"Woooow, Erroooor, was the first thing you thought of doing was looking down your pants?"

Error blushed and quickly sputtered out a comeback.

"No! SQuId, YoU WEre CrUShIng mY BoOBs!"

"Besides, how can we be sure we weren't women in the first place?"

"True... I never even bothered checking."

"Same."

There was a pause as they thought about it.

"Are we going to have periods now?"

"Are we going to use feminine pronouns now?"

Error muttered out a response, barely loud enough for Ink to him.

"I guess I have been wanting to use she/her for a while..."

"That's okay, we can use them."

Ink scratched at the back of his head.

"I honestly would've been using she/her pronouns a long time ago."

"But Dream said 'YoUr'E a SaNs YoUr'E a BoY!'"

Error was very close to laughing her ass off at the squawky voice Ink mocked Dream in.

"He really acts his age doesn't he?"

"He really does."

"Boomer."

That sent Ink over the edge, causing her to face plant right into a laughing fit. Giggling, Error took her chance to get out from under Ink.

Error started wheezing at her own horrible joke, almost joining Ink on the ground.

"-Okokokok," "-Let's start trying to figure out where we are."

Error quickly got control of her laughing.

Looking around, other than trees for miles on miles, Error saw a city, she could barely make it out over the trees.

Honestly, with how thick the forest was, she was surprised they landed in a clearing.

"Oh, by the way, does this multiverse have magic?"

Ink looked up from where she was, still lying on the ground.

"Lemme check..."

She quickly opened a glitchy portal into the code.

"That's weird, there's only a single big universe in this multiverse."

She opened this universe's code, there was a brief history.

"Basically, they do possess magic, but it's only strong enough to hold together their bodies."

"The humans do not have sorcery and the monsters were never sealed into the underground."

"So, no magic in public?"

"No magic in public."

Ink put her head down in defeat.

Ink suddenly sprung up, hair smacking into her face and getting in her mouth.

"PBTbtbf, well we can't stay in this forest forever, let's go!"

Ink proceeded to go in the completely opposite direction.

Error grabbed her by the scarf.

"Wrong way."

"I knew that."

Ink spun around speedily, acting like that never happened.

Error grasped one of Ink's hands.

Maybe, they really could have a new start in this multiverse.
