Hey quick authors note are you people okay with smut? Just wondering *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink*

---!---

Two months passed and little Luna had hardly grown.

I loved having her at this stage in her life, so easy to take care of.

But in the back of my mind, the journal and the potion still loomed. I decided that I would go that night.

But today it was nana and little leaf day. I promised to spend the whole day with Legolas.

We were going to go practice fighting. He was getting big. He needed to learn self-defence and I wanted to teach him instead of Thranduil.

I mean he would help, but mostly me.

"Hello little leaf. Are you excited for our day?" I asked my son, as he came bounding out of his room in green, tight pants and a darker green attire.

He looked so much like his father. Except more outdoorsy.

"Yes nana. Can we do shooting first?"

"Of course." I smiled. He ran ahead, pulling my hand.

We ran out into the warm sunlight. And into the forest, laughing the whole time.

"Alright Legolas, let's see if you can hit all those targets." I said, pointing to some targets amongst the trees.

He steadied his bow and pointed his arrow. Fwoosh right in the centre of the target.

"Wow. You've been practicing haven't you?" I asked, smiling at my son.

"Maybe." he grinned sheepishly.

We spent the whole morning shooting targets and then went in for lunch.

I felt hands slide to my waist and a deep voice beside my ear. "How's he doing?" Thranduil asked.

"Fantastic. I can't believe how good he is. He got bullseye on every one of the still targets and seven out of nine moving targets."

"He is doing well." Thranduil replied with a proud grin.

"He takes after his father." I replied. I turned around and we came together for a kiss.

I loved the feeling of his lips on mine. They were so soft. Every time he kissed me I felt butterflies in my stomach even after we were married.

I felt his tongue slide across my bottom lip, asking for entrance which I gladly obliged. We were really getting into it when Legolas called for me.

I pulled back laughing. "Alright I am going back out with little leaf." I whispered, before kissing his nose and walking back out.

When we got out side I brought him to the field nearby. There were two wooden blades on the ground.

"Ooh are we going to do fighting?!" Legolas asked excitedly. "I practiced this with Tauriel."

"And who's Tauriel?" I asked.

"She's my friend who lives in the abandoned hut in the village."

"Oh. Can I meet her sometime? We could bring her into the castle."

"Yes I'll introduce her to you next time she comes over to play." he nodded vigorously.

"Alright now let's start."

I grabbed one of the wooden blades and Legolas grabbed the other. He was a natural fighter.

Legolas even managed to disarm me once. I was very impressed.

"You're very good Legolas." I told him.

"Thank you nana. I practice a lot."

"Good. Now, we've been out here all day it's time for dinner do you want to invite Tauriel?"

"Yes please nana." he ran off.

---!---

Tauriel was a sweet little elf with bright red hair and I fiery attitude. She was almost as sassy as my husband.

It turned out that Tauriel didn't have any family and she lived alone.

"Well Tauriel, you can come live here in the castle and when you're older you can work here." Thranduil said, smiling at the child.

Her eyes lit up as she thanked us. Then she and Legolas rushed off to find her a room and I took Luna to her nursery.

Having a child again made me feel alive.

I cradled her head and she slowly fell asleep in my arms. "Luna." I whispered. "You are so beautiful Luna." I lay her down in her cot and she grabbed her little stuffed elk in her sleep.

I felt the warm hands I knew so well around my waist again. "She's as beautiful as her mother." Thranduil's deep voice purred.

"Oh but she has the gorgeous eyes of her father."

"Hmm." He replied and picked me up. He carried me to our room and laid me down on the bed.

"You're adorable." He grinned.

"Oh shut it you." I laughed.

We just lay there talking and kissing for a while and then decided to go to bed. Well... Thranduil did.

As soon as he was asleep I got up and made my way to the library.

I pushed in the brick and made my way down the passage until I came into the room.

I sat down and grabbed the journal, reading over the words once more.

I placed the candle in the middle of the room and a ring of salt around it. I clasped the watch and then blew lightly on the candle. On the third blow it lit.

"Haryana lingurun mayana." I felt suddenly powerful, and enlightened.

I looked up to see that I was in the library, there was a faint ticking noise. I looked around and then resolved that it was the clock. I had already wasted an hour. (A/N time is different in the spirit world.)

I took a step and I felt as if I were floating. Soon I was in the great hall and there was an elf at the table.

"Hello?" I called.

"Have you come to take me?" She asked, turning around, she was squinting.

"No I'm part I the living."

"How are you here?"

"I don't know."

"Well, I'm Isliandra."

"I'm Maydrien. Nice to meet you. Why are you squinting?"

"You're giving off a brilliant light sorry."

"Am I? Hmm." I looked at the clock. "Sorry I must be going. I'll see you again soon."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye." I felt rude but the time was up.

"Anayam nurugnil anayrah."

I was back in the secret room again.
