Part twenty-two

Eleanor had learned how to walk and was now somewhere in the castle and I was panicking. Liza giggled, she probably found my stressed state hilarious. I run out of my room and walk around the castle for a while until I find Jane playing with Eleanor. "Oh thank god." I pick up the baby and smile at Jane. "How's your day going dear?"

"Fine mother but I must go back the kings need me." I nod my head smiling before walking back to my room. I can feel someone watching me but that was normal this was just different. I shiver before entering my room. I put Eleanor in her crib and she starts babbling to her sister who babbled back. I sit on my bed and turn on the T.v. bored out of my mind until my stomach growled. I grab two bottles and give them to the girls who happily drank them, I hoped that would keep them occupied well I went to eat. I walk towards the kitchen and see that no one was there but I shrug going to the fridge.

"Well Well the kings are breaking their own laws." I turn around and see a buff vampire who lunged and bit my neck. I felt a fire spread through my veins and scream before my vision go black.

Aro POV
We were having a meeting about how the prisoners escaped. We had removed all the staff and that left only Kamie that we had to get out so we could find them. "Does anyone know where she is?"

"She was heading back to her room the last time I saw her." I nodded until we heard her scream. We all run towards the kitchen and see Kamie on the floor undergoing transition . Jane ran in looking frantic. "They took the babies." Marcus growled looking pissed. Helena walked in holding a parchment that had a large red R on it.

"So they declare a war, and a war we shall have." I say calmly. "Demitri track them." He nods and quickly goes off. "Everyone get ready." I stand next to Caius who was staring at a fuming Marcus.

"Their going to see why we jokingly call him the god of war aren't they."

"Oh for sure." Afton came in looking frantic.

"They took the twins!"

"We already established that Afton."

"Not the babies! They took Jane and Alec."

"How?!" Caius growled at the man who cowered back.

"There was venom in the floor so most likely removed their head and will re attach them later."
Caius crushed whatever he was holding in his hand before bending down and pick up the woman who was in pain.

"We will fight when they come closer." Caius walked out carrying our mate to her room and put her on the bed. Caius removed her casual clothes and put her into a light gold dress that was off the shoulder and had a flowy bottom. Caius sat down holding her hand and Marcus grabbed her other hand. I sat down on the end of the bed and stared at Kamies tortured form.

A war we shall have.
