He handed it to me like "hey Mel this is for you" and I grabbed it and just sat down on the ground and held my face in my hands just breathing and trying not to scream bloody murder in front of my entire church family. Then I got up and I ran and crushed that motherfucker in a hug and said thank you, obviously.
You don't know how much this actually means to me. For some context, I'm living with my parents, and they are very Christian and very specific (and nosy as fuck tbh) about what I listen to and what I spend money on. They barely know that I know what My Chemical Romance is (I pretend not to know), and they would absolutely never let me listen to them.
So I never thought I'd own merch, until I was moved out and making enough money to (I have TBP earrings but that's a secret), and here I am with an actual fucking physical CD of my favorite band. I'm so fucking happy about this. It's been such a shitty week and this is my absolute highlight.
Sean doesn't even realize how much this actually meant to me. He loves making/giving/buying things for people, this was just another one of those random gift things for him, but for me, this is everything. I'm gonna email him later probably and explain the depth that I couldn't scream at church, but YOU GUYS ARE GETTING MY FIRST WIND BECAUSE IM SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!
