Friday Fun Day

I sat in math class by myself since Chris stayed home to find out why his mom cheated, all I could think about was the other day with Jeffrey, I couldn't get out of my head, I had already finished the assignment for the class so I was just sitting there waiting for the bell to ring. My phone had vibrated and I looked to see a text from Jeffrey, ha speak of the devil,

"What class are you in?"
"Math, sitting here bored since I finished the assignment early."
"One moment doll."

I raised my eyebrow and sat there waiting, next thing I knew Ms.Hall called for me so I walked over to her desk,

Ms.Hall:"Mr.Morgan wants to see you, go ahead since your finished."
Me:"Okay?"

I walked over to my seat grabbing my stuff and walked out the door bumping into someone, my books fell onto the floor and all I heard was 'sorry doll' my head shot up and saw Jeffrey who squatted down helping me with my books,

Me:"Ms.Hall said you called to see me?"
Jeffrey:"I know I'm sorry I just couldn't wait.."
Me:"It's okay."

We both stood up and he walked us to his class, when we walked in I saw four adults, I raised an eyebrow,

Me:"Jeffrey?"
Jeffrey:"Just relax, it's some of the cast."
Me:"Oh!"

He smiled and I followed him down the walk way,

Jeffrey:"Mia, meet the ones you know as Rick, Carl, Carol and Michone."

I smiled and waved, they all waved back,

Jeffrey:"This is only the smaller group who will be at the convention."
Me:"That's cool, so what's going on?"
Jeffrey:"Mainly stopped by to go over some things for the convention."
Me:"I can leave so you can handle your business."
Andrew:"Actually Jeffrey wanted you to be here."
Me:"Okay?"

Jeffrey sighed,

Jeffrey:"Your probably not going to like the date.."
Me:"It's the 11th huh?"
Jeffrey:"Yea.."
Me:"Oh well thats okay."

He smiled and offered me his seat, I sat down laying my books on his desk and sat my bag on the floor by my feet,

Andrew:"So this is the Mia Norman has been talking about?"
Me:"That would be me."

He smiled and I looked at Jeffrey, he sat on the corner of his desk looking at me,

Jeffrey:"I want you to come with me to the convention."
Me:"I'll be there."

He smiled and turned towards the others, I sat there listening to them talk, when I heard the convention was going to be all weekend I frowned,

Jeffrey:"I'll only be there for the first day, then we'll leave for our trip."
Me:"Trip?"
Jeffrey:"I told you we would be doing something for your birthday."

I rolled my eyes leaning back in the chair, Jeffrey looked away,

Me:"So what time will the convention start?"
Andrew:"10am."-he chimed in-

I chuckled and laid my hands in my lap,

Me:"I'll make sure to meet you there."
Jeffrey:"Oh no, you'll be arriving with me darlin'."
Me:"Jeffrey are you sure about that?"
Jeffrey:"Yes."

I nodded and the bell rung, I groaned and stood up,

Me:"I gotta head to science."
Jeffrey:"No you don't, I already talked to your professors, you'll be here for the rest of the day, hey where's Chris?"
Me:"He stayed home to get some answers from his mom."

Jeffrey nodded and went back to the small group, I leaned my head back against the chair staring up at the ceiling,

Jeffrey:"Are you even listening Mia?"
Me:"Yes I am."
