The Sanctuary Welcomes Daryl

Negan's P.O.V

I stood outside the door to the main room of the Sanctuary, everyone was working, Mia still hasn't shown her face just yet but soon she will. I heard faint boot falls coming towards me, I grinned and looked over seeing Mia, stunning as always especially with her bat resting on her shoulder. Both Arat and Chris trailed behind her as they made their way towards me, I lifted my right arm holding out my hand, Mia smirked and picked up her pace placing her hand in mine once she reached me,

Me:"Sleep well?"
Spitfire:"Like a baby. So what is the plan today?"
Me:"I figured we could hang out here today since your pal will be here soon."
Spitfire:"My pal?"
Me:"Daryl."
Spitfire:"Right! The window, how could I forget?"

I chuckled and she looked through the doorway,

Me:"Come."

She nodded and I walked us inside, everyone stopped what they were doing. All of them bowed as we walked through the crowd, I led her up the stairs of the walkway and made our way to the middle, I kissed her hand and let go. We rested our hands on the railing,

Me:"On your feet."

Once everyone stood up they turned their attention towards us,

Me:"You all should know what happened to Jerry by now, I get it, it sucks ass. But like we've said before rules are rules, which are not to be broken whatsoever. Now, if your good little workers and get everything done for the day, tonight? We'll through a party, let you guys relax and unwind for all the hard work you've done."
Spitfire:"The rules still remain, do not test us. I'm sure none of you want to be hung on the fence as a reminder, now would you? Oh no, now let's be one big family and get back to work?"

Everyone bowed once again then got back to work. I looked over at Mia with a smile,

Me:"Feels good don't it?"

She kept looking down towards everyone,

Spitfire:"You know? It really does, I can see why you were the king."
Me:"You've seen nothing yet."
Spitfire:"We'll see."

Arat darted up the stairs rushing over to us, she saluted us then spoke up,

Arat:"Daryl just arrived."
Me:"Well doll, let's go welcome him."
Spitfire:"After you."
Me:"Oh no, ladies first."

Mia scoffed and followed Arat down the stairs as I followed behind them. Once we made it outside Daryl looked up at us,

Spitfire:"Well look at you."
Daryl:"Oh hush, I brought the two idiots."

Mia strolled down the stairs and over to Daryl, I stayed by the door but leaned forward against the railing as Arat looked at me,

Arat:"Not going down there?"
Me:"No, she can handle herself."
Arat:"She sure can boss."

I huffed as I watched Mia boss the two idiots around, Daryl stood there not knowing what to do or say to her. I grinned to myself then nudged Arat who followed me down the stairs,

Me:"May I have a word?"
Spitfire:"Sure."
Me:"Follow."

I looked to see she was walking towards me so I turned and headed for the gate. When I was about ten feet from the gate I stopped and turned around to face her,

Spitfire:"Something wrong?"
Me:"No not at all doll. How about you and I go on a special run after the window is fixed?"
Spitfire:"Really?"
Me:"Yea why not?"
Spitfire:"Let's see, we argue every time we go on a run."

I chuckled and nodded,

Me:"Yea that may be so, but I promise it will be different this time around."
Spitfire:"Alright. So where are we going?"
Me:"Nowhere specific just want some time with you, is that okay bosslady?"
