Chap:10 Hangover soup

Eva's Pov

I woke up in the morning with Lisa.
She had a terrible hangover.

"Ughhh what's wrong with me. I think someone is hammering on my head. Oh my god I am going to be sick", She said running towards the bathroom door. I ran after her. She released all of her stomach substances into the toilet as I held a grip on her hair not letting them falling on her face.

She sat on bathroom tiles leaning against the wall breathing deeply.
I pulled her up from the ground and hold her arm around my neck and walked over to her bed with her.

She fell on the bed like almost fainting.

" I think I should make you hangover soup",I said changing into my previous dress leggings and my t-shirt.

"I am going to grocery shop. Stay here don't move". I said as I knew she was unconscious.

I walked out of her house and drove off to the store.

I parked my car on the parking spot then entered into the store.

I was searching for some good hangover soup. I had no idea of that actually since I never got drunk.

" Hey,Eva!!!". Someone yelled behind me. I turned and saw Clara was standing with trolley in her hand smiling at me.

"Hey!!". I waved.

"How are you?" she asked.

"Fine. What about you", I asked back.

" Excellent!! "She exclaimed.

" It seems you are so happy today", I said checking her head to toe dramatically.

"Yes,I am. So you are here for grocery?"

I nodded.

"Do you live nearby? " She asked.

"Yup. Besides the Facilities tower", I answered.

"Wow that's great. My apartment just three blocks away from here". She said clapping her hand excitedly. Her face was shining lightly.

I can guarantee that  she won a lottery.

But me is being me couldn't hold my curiosity.

" Can I know the reason behind your this happy mood?".I asked her carefully.

"Obviously! My boss took some days off because of his friend's wedding. And I don't have to work in these days", she said almost dancing.

" Oh. Now I got it". I said tapping my fingers on my lips.

"You don't have no idea Eva how much these holidays mean for me. I have been working in this company for 5 years never got this long time vacation. My boss is a workaholic. He never took vacation more than 2 days. Thanks to Alex for taking time arranging his wedding ", she said huffing.

" Alex his friend? "

"Yup.  They are best buddies".

I hummed. " Alex is really special then".

"Yup!!", she chirped.

We talked while collecting our grocery. She suggested me a good branded hangover soup.

I looked at my watch then saw I was out for an hour.

" Oh crap! I have to go. My friend maybe woke up", I said rushing to the counter.

"Mybe we can hangout since you live nearby". She said with an expectation on her face. " Actually I have no one to hang out".

"Don't you have boyfriend or friend ?"I blurted out before I stop my mouth.

She gave me a sad smile. " No. I broke up with my last boyfriend 6 months ago and I don't have close friend in this city. But in my home town I have many ".

"Oh". I said didn't know what to say.

" Ok. I would love to hang out ". I said flashing a wide grin.

"Ok then I will text you". She said happily.

" Ok!"

I paid then bid goodbye to Clara.

Then drove off.

I got into Lisa's house. Luckily her parents were not there. They were in a business trip. They were so strict. If they find out that Lisa got drunk they would hit the shit out of her. That's why when they go to business trip Lisa called party in their absence.

I got in her room. She was still sleeping. Thinking let her sleep for a while I went to downstairs for preparing soup.

In a few minutes I was done. I went back to her room but she was not there.

I heard shower running in the bathroom. I put the soup on the table besides the bed as sat on the bed waiting for her.

She got out of the shower drying her hair with a towel.
"Hey". she smiled noticing me.

" I brought soup for you", I said

" Thanks. I was feeling headache thought maybe taking  a shower it will go away". She said sitting opposite me on a tool.

"Did it go away?". I gave her the soup bowl in her hands.

" Yeah. Just feeling a little dizziness ".

" No problem. It will go away if you  take this soup".

She grinned. "I hope that"

She finished her soup in a few minutes.

"That's great". She said handing me the bowl. "This is like a magic. I never thought you are good at choosing hangover soup ". She eyed me suspiciously.

" It's nothing. A friend suggested me. We ran into each other in the store". I said waving my hand.

"Tsk tsk friend? ". She said with a smirk.

" It was a female friend,  Lisa". I said clearly.

"Are you sure? "

"Lisa don't start please. She was friend whom I met a few days ago in a coffee shop. She is a good girl ".

She made a sad face looking at me stuck her bottom lip out.

" What?!" I yelled.

"You just crashed my hope. I thought I will know a romantic encounter of yours and a hot guy", she said wiping her fake tears.

" Sorry hun for disappointing you", I said suppressing my laugh.

She whined throwing herself on the bed like a child and I burst out into a laughter.

I headed to the home after waving Lisa goodbye. When I was about to open the door my dad standing there opening the door looking at me like predator.

"Where were you?"

"At Lisa's place?" It sounded like question more than answer.

"Did you see the time princess?" he asked calmly.

"Sorry dad. Actually Lisa was sick", I said looking down. Cause I couldn't lie looking into his eyes.

" What happened to her?". He asked worriedly.

"Stomach bug ".

He hummed." Now is she okay?"

"Yeah"

"Ok come on. Don't be late like this next time. I was so worried ". He said patted my head.

I was feeling bad for lying to him but I had no choice. If I said him the truth he will get hurt. I mentally promise myself that I won't never go any party without dad's permission.

I offered him a smile." I won't dad".
I said  as climbed the stairs.
