Jeonghan| accident

"It is to hereby report to all the citizens of the country to stay safe inside, a snow storm has been reported to hit the city at around noon today, the temp might drop by -6°C, driving will be difficult today, visibility will be minimum bla bla bla...."

It's been chilly cold since past few days. There's occasional snow storm, the roads have become dangarous slippery and to avoid accidents on road the govt decided to spread salt on the road to avoid slips.

Today's weather is not good so the group decided to stay indoors and work from home

"Guys we are running out of groceries..." Vernon said opening the fridge while peeking in it
"Today's weather seems no good though..." Joshua said lifting his head from book to the window to see outside
"Yeah they said today's gonna be more chilly" Vernon said bringing two cups of hot chocolate, he gave one to Joshua and both of them sip it.

"What's there to eat?" Dino said while walking towards the fridge.
"Noth-" Vernon was about to say
"We're running out of groceries.." Dino said cutting Jim off while closing the door fridge, he took out a chips packet out of the cabinet

Jeonghan came out of his room, he grabbed his car keys and was going to step outside.

"Hyung where are u going?" Dino asked munching the chips in his mouth
"A staff called me, there's something which needs to be fixed in my recording" Jeonghan said while fixing his snow boots

"Hyung today's weather..." Dino was about to complete
"I know, and I'll drive carefully don't worry and it will not take much time" Jeonghan replied with a smile he was about to unlock the door

"Bring some groceries on the way back home hyung, we are running out of it" Vernon said from kitchen where he was Washing the cups

"Okay" Jeonghan said closing the door behind

He could feel the coldness outside despite of how many layers of woollen clothes he wore. He was not so fond of cold and winter as he's very tend to catch cold. But despite of that he likes snow

The way from the dorm to the parking lot was fully covered with snow, thanks to his winter boots or else he would feel cold. The sound of munching of snow underneath was very satisfying to hear, Jeonghan chuckled to himself
He opened the car, buckled himself up and drove off.

There was some system problem so his part was showing problem, the staff told that he needed to re-record his part for this but some other day. Jeonghan was thankful for that, he himself didn't wanted to do recording in this weather

He stopped by the grocery store. His hands were fully taken up by big bags, he went towards his car and placed those bags inside. He was about to seatbelt himself when another car from the other side of the road came and crashed with his car.

Everything happened so fast he couldn't comprehend properly. He hold his left arm with an unbearable pain which also caused him to shut his eyes he gave a small welp. He took some moments to settle in the situation and slowly he came out of the car.
There was a small crowd around his and the other car. A few police car was also present
"Are u okay?" A police uniform lady approached him and asked him
"Yeah I'm fine..." Jeonghan replied
"What happened?" He then asked to the lady
" The roads are slippery and this man has violated the rules by driving beyond speed limit and caused accidents" the lady said

Jeonghan then walked to the other side of his car to see the damage caused, his car now has a deep cave which clearly shows that his car was hit by other car very hard, his car was now in no position to drive
"Hey you're bleeding!" Jeonghan got a bit startled
"Wh-where?!" Jeonghan said with surprise
It was that moment when he felt like some liquid was dripping from his left arm
His arm was already sore and now he saw blood was dripping from his arm

"Let's take u to hospital" the lady then hold his good arm and made him sit to the police car
"I-I..." Jeonghan didn't got any chance to reply before he could reply he was already in the car

While they were on their way to hospital
"Uh what about my car?" Jeonghan asked the officer
"We will take care of it, since the culprit caused accident and u will be compensated" the officer replied

Jeonghan then remember about the groceries in the car he totally forgot about those
"Uh can u get my bags to my home they were in the car..." Jeonghan said hesitantly
He gave a nervous smile to the officer who looked up to him
"Sure thing...write down the address" the officer said passing a small notepad towards him
He wrote down the address to it and gave it back to her

At the hospital Jeonghan bowed to those officers who brought him to hospital and thanked them countless times, those officers were asking whether they could send him home but Jeonghan denied, they troubled to deliver those groceries and bringing him hospital was actually enough and he was very thankful for it, he told them he will call a friend to come pick him up

Jeonghan was now sitting on one of the hospital chair. He got a plaster on his left arm which was having fracture with a cut
"I better give a call to them, or else they will be worrying" he said in mind and pulled out his mobile with his good hand from the pocket and dialled Jun's number

At the mean time

"Hyung what is taking Jeonghan hyung so long?" Dino asked while keeping his gaming remote on the centre table
He, Vernon and Seongkwan were playing video games

"Huh? He hasn't came back yet?" Jun asked while passing the room
"It's already 3 hours.."
A knock was heard on the front door
"Must be Hyung!" Dino ran towards the door

When he opened the door a stranger was standing with two big bags filled with groceries
" Is this Mr. Jeonghan's home?" He asked
"Yes..but who are u?" Dino asked to that man
Jun came forward and stood behind Dino, Vernon and Seongkwan were peeking with a questionable and confused look

"Hello I'm officer (name) from (place name) substation these are Mr. Jeonghan's things and he requested these to be delivered to his place as few hours ago he met with an accident and now is in hospital" the officer said handing those groceries to them

"wait What!?" Dino asked with a surprised look
"How is he now?!" Jun asked hurriedly
"He's fine now-" he was about to finish but he get cut off as Jun's phone started to ring

He saw the caller id "Jeonghan"
Before picking up the call he thanked the officer and proceeded to pick the call

"Where are u now?!"

"At the hospital"

"Hyung what happened?" Dino asked from side
Jun quickly put the phone on speaker so that everybody could hear

"I was at the grocery store and was about to leave then suddenly a car came and crashed with me.. I got a fracture on my left arm and a wound but other than that I'm okay guys don't worry..."

Jeonghan could heard many voices over the phone, all the other members have now crowded over the phone and are trying to speak to him but nothing is making sense

"Don't speak together you all, come pick me up from here I'm waiting" Jeonghan said over the phone

"We are on our way!"
The other side sounded more like a unison of voices said it
He then hung up the phone

"Kids.." Jeonghan chuckled over his phone
