Skye P.O.V

After a couple of days I finally got used to the routine, eating three scrumptious asian meals, watching Ameera, "Ammi" and "Abba" pray, and lolling around on the couch when I was bored.

The good thing was, at the crazy time of all this drama, it was Uni holidays, as they were making extensions to the laboratories. But I knew the dreaded day of revealing our dirty secret would come soon. As Patrick said "One can not flee from the real world" whatever that meant.

Ameera decided we go to Next and River Island to find some "modest" clothes. So I packed my bag and yelled for Ameera. She dased down the stairs a her red scarf flying behind her.

"Hang on, let me just fix my hijab," she panted.

She fiddled with her scarf and opened the door.

"Come on, lets go,"

"No Skye, if you want a dress a ankle length one," Ameera scolded.

"What the point, " I whined, "They're all horrible,"

Ameera sighed and picked up a peach flowy full length maxi-dress with pastel pink embroidery. She collected the last items, including full sleeve shirts baggy trouser and jumpers. They all disgusted me but, they were, apparently "modest" so they'd have to do.

We headed home collecting frappacinos and red velet cupcakes on the way home. I watched the way Ameera walked, she kept her gaze low and looked at the path in front of her. I smiled.

We reached the front gate and she quickly unlocked the door stepped inside and gave me a Your-gonna-have-sunset-stare look and I laughed, getting the message she shut the door with a soft click.

My heart felt as light as my hands. Dreams soaring I beamed, because I had it all. Another chance.

A fresh start.
