☄︎𝐘/𝐍
✈︎Manhattan, New York
I stretched leisurely and sat up from my bed, finally awakening from my slumber.
Beck was defeated, Peter and I were finally back in New York, and I spent the week in the tower, instead of the compound.
I got up from my comfortable silk sheets, getting ready for the day.
Once I looked presentable, I went out to grab myself a bowl of cereal. I haven't had breakfast here since his passing.
I could see myself running around the living room and the kitchen, taunting my Dad with any of his new technology whilst he chased me down the hallways.
I was longing for moments like these but maybe some day I could create similar moments with my own children. Me being a present mother, seen as I never really had the chance to meet mine.
Once I finished my breakfast I set my bowl down and had Happy drive me to Peter's.
I knocked on Peter's apartment door, enthusiastically. The door swung open and I was faced with May.
"Hey May! How are you?" I greeted, leaning in for a hug, which she graciously melted into.
"I'm good! How was your trip? From your point of view, obviously." She laughed, breaking the hug. "Well, villain battle aside, it was pretty eventful." I smiled.
"Alright well, I'll get out of your hair, kids." She said, letting me in. "There's pizza in the oven if you're hungry and call me if you both need anything." She informed me, whilst grabbing her jacket and leaving the apartment.
I walked to Peter's room. "Peter?" I called out while gently knocking on his room's door. I let myself in and was faced with an empty, messy room.
He descended upside down from the ceiling and leaned into my very shocked face. He was suited up and his mask had been on, but he was wearing Peter-clothes. I leisurely rolled the mask down just above his lips.
His lips touched mine first, but slowly and gently. I smiled into the kiss and laughed, which broke it.
"Been waiting to try that one on you for a while now." He smirked. "Oh really? How long?" I chuckled.
"Ever since Berlin, kitten." He muttered. "The first time in Berlin."
"I thought you hated Black Cat back then." I quipped.
"You hated me, if I might add. So, if anything it's your fault." He tilted his head, provoking me.
"Oh, no, no, no, Spidey. You don't get to blame all of this on me, you hated me at some point too." I rebuked.
"Alright, fine. We both hated each other sometime back then." He laughed.
Peter dropped down from the ceiling, and invited me to lay beside him on his bed.
I scooted into his hold, spooning him. I was the bigger spoon, for some reason we both liked it that way. But we'd switch sometimes.
"Hey, Pete?" I whispered, fiddling with his honey brown locks. "Yeah?" Even if I was staring at the back of his head, it was like I could still see his face light up with curiosity.
