Settling into her seat Yadira waits on the producer's instructions. A faceless voice sounds behind the camera, "Whenever you're ready just answer the questions we gave you earlier okay? I'll repeat them for you."
Nodding with a small smile, she takes a long breath before speaking. "Hi, I'm Yadira Estrella and I'm married to the sensational Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets. We've been together about nine years now, married for six. We have two heavenly three year old girls, Jamila and Kemari."
Where, when and how did you meet? "Kai and I met early 2011 at a grocery store, I was looking for some contact lense solution and I couldn't see a damn thing, he helps me get it from the top shelf and I don't see him again until two months later at a park. Three years and some change later, we get married, three more we have our two bundles of joy right before I signed my biggest book deal."
Where are you from? "Born in Wailuku, Hawaii I grew up with my very talented singer-songwriter best friend Zephyr Toler's family."
What are your feelings going into the season? "As much as it's scary, you could say I'm excited to let you guys into our life for a while, it's important for people to see more than the glamour as well as see an untainted version of the ugly."
