How did I come here ? I was somewhere in Tamil Nadu managing my drunkard father while working in a small medical shop , bodyshamed for being fat by my fellow girl friends but being shamelessly seen with lust by hungry men.
It was just yesterday morning I was scolding my father as he vomited out what he drank the day before and went to work.
But by afternoon I was dragged to home by big buffy men in black with black coolers and rough orangish brown beard. It was as if seeing them jump out from Hollywood action movies .
When they dumped me in my house I saw that their people were already there , demanding and frightening my father.
But before I could react someone placed a kerchief near my nose making me faint right that instant.
I was woken up this morning in a deliciously silky bed with my father's crying face right infront of me.
He all but pleaded me to marry someone blabbering something about his debt and stuff.
I stopped him and said that I can't understand.
So he started from the beginning about buying debt for my studies from a certain Italian Mafia boss , then told how he wasn't able to pay back so now the boss has kidnapped him and is asking for money, if not money he wants to marry me.
How could a drunkard unemployed lower middle class man ever be in debt with an Italian Mafia boss is what I think.
It is so illogical, something big is hiding behind what my father is saying , he is hiding something. But one thing I am sure is he is really in some dip sh*t with this guy and he is definitely dangerous.
My father was begging me , literally on his hands and knees.
I had no go but to accept cause there is no way to get out from here , the room itself is twice the size of our whole house back in India and those big beefy men....no doubt.
This man is really dangerous.
He can do anything to my dad.......and me.
I just nodded my head .
I didn't know at that time that - that one nod of my head will cause me and my life to change......... completely.
