Chap 1 : Unwanted

Hi I'm umm Leo I live with my Mother and my Father walked away when I was around 5 years old I'm 17 now but ever since my Father left my Mother has been a reck
What I mean by that is she drinks a lot is barley ever home and when she is all she does is say- well yell about how it was my fault that my Father left but I thought she was better off without him I mean whenever I saw them they would say mean and hurtful things to each other sometimes it would get a bit physical and loud that's when I would hide under my bed and cover my ears and cry plus my Father was never really nice to me either
But I guess I'm wrong maybe I am the reason he left.
Anyways! Today I get my classification letter it should come around 7 pm I think I think I'll get neutral honestly my mother is a neutral and so is my father i think so wouldn't expect anything more nor worry about it but I was wrong of course so very very wrong.
7 pm
*knock knock*
I hear I knock at the door at the dirty small apartment I live in
I quickly look at the time and realize who's at the door , I quickly get off my mattress and run to the door swinging it open
My mother is passed out on bathroom floor right now so it's not like I expected her to answer it
"Hello" a sweet voice says
I look up to see a women with kind brown eyes and dark brown hair
"H-hi can u help you?" She made me nervous
"Is there a Leo Anderson at this residence?" The women asked
"Mhm that would be me" I say she makes me nervous under her gaze
"Great ! I'm here about your classification , if you don't mind me asking is anyone else here with you?" She said
" u-ummm my Mother is here Miss" why can't she just give me the letter and be on her way
"What great manners ! May I speak to her ?" She adds
"N-no!" I quickly cover my mouth as I just realized what the hell I did
"Oh? Sorry why not you said she's here"
"She's s-s-sleeping right now" why does she need to talk to her
"I see" the women says getting lost in thought
"Umm is that my classification l-letter?" I point to the envelop in her hand
"Oh! Yes it is sorry here you go" the women says quickly handing it to me
I take it from her and open it I won't lie I'm a bit excited it's not like I get mail or anything so I open the envelope ripping it a bit and taking out the paper and reading it
"L-l-l-little?"
My confused and shocked thoughts were quickly intruded by someone yelling you name
"Leo!!" My Mother yelled through the apartment
"Who's at the door boy!" She spat walking well kinda tumbling up to the woman and I
"Hello ma'am you must be Leo's mother correct?"
"Yes yes that's me what's this about?"
"Well Leo her-" my mother quickly interrupted the kind women with her harsh words
"Do you mind speeding this up I've got somewhere to be right now" what the bar? I just roll my eyes the women looks a bit surprised with the rudeness pouring out of my mother's mouth
"Oh uhh yes of course my name is Lily and I'm here to give Leo his classification and He is a little!" Shit
My Mother quickly whipped her head around to me with a very anger look
"I'm sorry repeat that" my mother says gritting her teeth
"A little ma'am and when having a little comes responsibility ! So I need to see the conditions of the living armaments and hospital files along wi-" Lily was interrupting surprisingly again by once again my mother hurtful words
"I don't want him" she says coldly " I'm too busy to take care of him and I can't do all that crap you were saying and I'm not spending money on him" I feel hot tears threatening to spill as I quickly look at my feet a pull my sleeves down on my gray hoodie and play with my sleeves currently I'm in black shorts white socks and a grey hoodie
"Uh- umm are you positive ma'am I mean he's your son and-"
"are you deaf I said I don't want him" my mother spat I just wanted to scream and cry , why is she so mean?
"Umm okay Leo why don't you go get your stuff and come with me yeah?" Lily said looking down at me
"No" my mother said no?
"He dosent need anything from here and none of it is his anyways it's not like he payed for it" she is half right none of it is mean and she did pay for it and I don't really have anything important here anyways
I hear a sigh from lily
"I suppose your correct go get your shoes on and let's go Leo maybe some pants to it's raining I promise to go get you some McDonald's" lily said sweetly
"I-I don't have any shoes" I mumble well I used to but they don't fit anymore and that's when I felt so helpless it haven't even been that long and my life is falling apart I dropped to the floor pulling my knees to my chest and balling my eyes out in front of this lady my mom walked away a couple minutes ago to probably shower or something
"Oh darling I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry cmon" before I knew it I felt her hands go under my armpits and her pick me up as if I was weightless and she set me on her hip and started to walk out of the apartment complex her heels clicking against the concrete and the rain coming down outside we finally got to her car after standing in the crappy elevator with an old man her car is black and super fancy with leather seats and she opens the back seat of the car to reveal a car seat facing the seats I was to upset and exhausted to put up a fight so I just let it happen while she buckled me in and layed a blanket on top of me handing me something colorful
"What color is this Leo?" She asked while holding a blue key up
"Mmm b-blue" I say a little a above a whisper
"Looks like we have a Genius on our hand huh" she says with a smile and a wink
"Hmm okay what color is this one this ones harder"
I look and she has a umm yellow? Yes yellow key
"Uhh-h y-yellow"
"Wow what a smart boy!" She praises while handing the plastic keys to me
"Okay how about we go get some food then get some rest yeah?" I just nod my head she's so kind in the time I've been with her she's been nicer to me then my mother ever has
She shuts the door of the car and gets in the drivers seat and starts the car and drives away from the hell hole I was in I played with the keys for awhile there's a blue one yellow one red one and a green one all connected a key chain I had the urge to put it in my mouth for some reason but that would be rude and gross so I just stuck with my hands
While sucking on my fingers I feel the car stop and Lilly get out and open my door
"Hey Leo are you ready let's get something to eat are those toys fun?" She says while unbuckling me and taking me out of the car seat I held onto the keys but Lilly swiftly pulled my fingers out of my mouth and started walking
"Sorry babes your fingers are icky I'd much rather you nah on those keys then your fingers since I didn't bring a pacifier" she said kindly I just nodded my head until we got into the uhh what did she call it? Oh McDonalds ! 
"What would you like babes?" Lily asked
"I-I've never been here before" I whisper
"Never been to McDonald's!?" I jumped a bit at the sudden shock in her
"Oh sorry sweetie I didn't mean to scare you" she said while bouncing me a bit I was tired and I just wanted to cry so I just played with the keys while lily got up to the cashier and lily ordered for us and we went to go sit down and she grabbed one of those little high chairs they have and lowered me into it I was a bit shocked at first but I didn't mind to much
Finally we got our food and she set a little box
In front of me umm yeah i don't know what to do
"Oh here you go" she says while opening the box and taking out food from it some apple sauce , milk , and nuggets
"This is called a happy meal it's super yummy" she said while opening the milk and putting it into a bottle
"T-thank o-Oo" oo?? What is o? 
"Of course Leo what do you want first"
In all honesty I wasn't really hungry but I do need food in my tummy so I just pointed to the apple sauce
Lily open it and started to spoon feed me apple sauce when we were almost done I didn't want anymore
"Come on just a little little bit more Leo" lily said
"N-n-nu" I said while rubbing my eyes I'm tried and I'm not hungry so what did I do
I cried
I just couldn't help it
I started crying my eyes out
I wanted to go and sleep on my mattress with my blanket then wake up in the morning and watch the clouds go by
Lily picked me up and started to bounce me
"Sshhh shhh it's okay it's okay I'm sorry I didn't mean to push you that's my fault Leo I'm sorry you don't have to eat anymore" and of course I settled down into small sniffles and hiccups
lily cleaned up our trash and we went back out to the car and she layed me down in the car seat and put the blanket on me
"I'm sorry Leo I should've known but I know your not hungry but you've been crying a lot so would you like your bottle of milk"
That sounded pretty good so I nodded my head and she gave me a small bottle she help me guide the nipple in my mouth and I started to suck instantly the nice cold milk going down my throat
Lily closed my door and went into the diver seat and started to drive
When I got done with the bottle I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier by the second the last in I remember was looking at the big full moon out the car window before darkness swallowed me whole
