Chap 12 Waterpark Trip

It was a Saturday morning when I rudely wakened to dada changing my diaper

"dadaaaa" I whined kicking my legs and rubbing my eyes 

"I know baby I know, but today we're gonna go to the Water park!" dada said excitedly taping my diaper up and putting a yellow and white striped tee over my head along with a pair of white shorts 

Waterpark?!?!?!? He can't be serious! When I was younger in the summer and my mom wasn't home I would go over to the neighbor kids house and we would play with the sprinkler running around in the sun

I clapped my hands and squealed with joy, Dada picked me up and took me downstairs, and set me in my highchair, Papa came over to me with yummy food

"Good morning baby boy, Look I have bananas and oatmeal for you!" Papa said as he put a bib around my neck and  got a spoon full a guided it to my mouth 

When I finished eating Papa and Dada got everything ready for the water park 

"Snacks?"

"check!"

"Sunscreen?"

"Check!"

I giggled at Papa and Dada as they went back and forth and the list went on 

"Ready baby boy!" Dada came over and swooped me out of my high chair and carried me out to the car and buckled me in my car seat and put my blanket bu over me

"Baba?" I questioned papa always gives me a bottle in the morning or in the car

"Uhhhh yeah baba, Honey Leo wants his bottle" Dada called to Papa

"I got it I got it! Man we'd be in trouble if we didn't bring his bottles and pacifiers" Papa went on as he packed stuff in the back and handed Dada my baba

"Here you go prince," Dada said as he gave me my baba

After all that we were headed out on the road but I can't really tell you about the ride cause I ended up falling asleep haha

"Have a nice nap baby?" Papa said as he unbuckled me from my car seat and took me out and I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes

"Let's get you ready baby," Papa said as he placed me on a changing matt in the back of the car and changed me into? I swim diaper? which feels quite odd but anyways then they rubbed sunscreen all over my face and body it was so annoying then they put a dumb hat on me

"All ready let's go!"Dada said as he grabbed some bags and papa carried me following Dada

After a bit of a line, we got into the waterpark! 

I squealed and bounced in Papa's arms

"You guys can go ahead in the water ill go find a place to set up and put all of our stuff," Dada said as he kissed Papa on the cheek and headed off

"Okay baby let's go play!"Papa said as he walked over to the splash pads and all the water 

Papa put me down on my feet carefully so I could gain my balance, and we walked over to a pink flower on the ground shooting out water, Papa splashed a little in my face and I giggled and played in the water a bit getting used to walking more, Dada finally came over and played with us to

In fact, I was getting so used to walking I decide to run, I ran all around things as my feet splashed in the shallow water I giggled

"Leo! too far baby" Dada came and started coming over to me at a quick pace, So I did what anyone would...I ran, I ran around giggling until Dada came a picked me up quickly and I burst into a fit of giggles

"Okay giggle monster let's go get some lunch," Dada said laughing and walking back to Papa

"Nuhhh pay in da wataaa" I whined and pouted

"Right after lunch, we can," Dada said as he handed me to Papa

We sat in a nice shaded part of the park as we ate and Dada fed me cut up pieces of a peanut and jelly sandwich with fruit and some water

"Papa pay ow" I whine I wanted to go back to playing in the water now

"We have to wait a bit Leo for our food to settle in our tummies so we don't get sick" Papa explained to me but in return, I just pouted and crossed my arms

"Okay little boy come here," Papa said as he placed me in his lap and gave me a small toy to keep me occupied

After about 10 years!/15-20 minutes we finally went back to playing at the splash pad

"Hey, baby wanna go in the big pool!" Dada asks Big pool? sure why not!

Dada me and Papa walked over to this super big pool

"Come on baby boy" Dada encouraged holding his arms out but I just shook my head no Dada and Papa wanted me to swim over to them in the big deep pool and I mean sure they were close to me but I still was scared

"n-n-nu! Dadaa Papaa" I whined as my lip started to wobble 

"Okay okay Its okay baby," Papa said as he came over to me and pulled me into his arms I just whined and put my head on his shoulder

"Someones looking tired," Dada said as he rubbed my back 

"Yeah we should probably get going I'm pretty tired myself" Papa responded 

All I could do was nod I was pretty exhausted now that they mention it 

We packed up all our things and Papa changed me into comfy clothes when we got out to the car

I fell asleep on the car ride home of course and when we got home at dinner I was so tired I was falling asleep in my high chair so I only ate a little bit of dinner and we all hung out in the living room watching movies for the rest of the night before I totally passed out 

Today was really fun :)
