Halloween special!!

Currently Papa and dada and I are in a spooky Halloween store cause Halloween was soon and honestly I've never truly celebrated Halloween I guess you could say?
But Papa said that's going to change this year
"What do you wanna be baby boy?" Papa asked
I simply shrugged my shoulders
"What about hmm a dinosaur!" Papa said enthusiastically as he pulled the dinosaur costume off from the rack showing me
I looked at him and the costume up and down till I eventually shook my head no
I really wasn't that into dinosaurs like most kids they just don't seem as fascinating as people put them as papa sighs
"What about a cool monster baby boy" Daddy does the same thing as Papa showed the costume to me once again I shook my head no
I really didn't know what I wanted to be I wasn't super interested in any show or movie or game
Papa and daddy both put their thinking faces on which they looked really silly but they tried to figure something out for my costume
"Oh! What about the uhh pokimans? Things you like?" Papa said
Pokimans?
Oh!
"Pokémon!" I corrected him
"Yes Pokémon do you want to be one of those little guys baby?" Papa asked with hope in his eyes
I thought for a second as a smile slowly crapped my face that wasn't such a bad idea
No I just need to decide which one I will be!
Hmmm Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Charizard as I thought through all the basic ones it finally popped in my head....Snorlax!
"Snorlax!" I said enthusiastically bouncing
"Snorlax it is!" Daddy said as he started searching
I giggled I liked Snorlax cause he reminds me of how Daddy snores super duper loud like a bear
As me and papa were walking through the store there were these Big animatronic scary clowns skeletons etc.
they were not nice looking they had a whole display of them around the store
I try to avoid them all cost staying close by papa and daddy side but I quickly failed as I walked by one that was motion detecting a clown popped out of a bag and screamed super duper loud
I quickly fell to my bum and had a moment of shock before I started bawling my eyes out
Papa was quick to come to the rescue and picked me up setting me on his hips slowly soothing me and rocking me
"Papaaa" I cried out
"Oh I know baby that was scary but it's okay cause he's not gonna get you and he's not real" Papa explained trying to dry my tears
After a little bit I managed to calm down and recollect myself
"I found it!" I heard Daddy say as he had a Snorlax onesie in his grasp
I squealed and smiled as I examined the costume while Papa explained the scary clown incident But that wasn't my main concern anymore
"Wha ar you guys gonna be" I asked smiling
Both of them made eye contact and then looked back at me with the sheepishly look
"Oh well we weren't planning on dressing up baby boy" Papa said
Huh?!?!
No way I'm not letting that slide!
"Nu! Papa and Daddy dress up likes me" I pouted putting on puppy dog eyes
Both of them sighed and gave in
"Okay baby how about you pick our costumes then" Daddy said
Hmmmm alright I can do that
I looked at them closely Until a light went off in my head
"Papa pikachu! An Daddy Litten!" I said pointing at them
They shrugged and we looked through the store and they got a simply pikachu hoodie and Litten hoodie I smiled and squealed I was actually quite excited for Halloween now!
Halloween day
"Dats scary" I mumbled to Papa As I looked at the house in my snorlax onsie as it was only a little dark out
Papa and daddy explained to me that we gotta go up to the house and ring the door bell and say trick or treat and get candy
But that sound very nerve racking and I'm not into social interaction right now
"It's not scary ! Daddy and I will be right with you in our super cool hoodies and you'll get candy" Papa encourage
Eventually I slowly nodded my head yes on the condition they stay super close
as we went up to the house with the porch light on I ring the doorbell and I heard steps coming to the door I tensed up in fear but all there was was a little old lady with a bucket of candy
"Oh aren't you the cutest darn thing!" The lady gushed and coo'd I blushed
"Twick or tweat" I said somewhat quiet
"Treat for you of course! Here's some candy cutie pie!" The lady said as she gave me a handful of candy in my little pumpkin bucket
"What do we say little one" daddy says
"Tank you!" I squealed
that wasn't scary at all!
She smiled as she closed her door as we walked away
"Papa Daddy another house pease!" I hopped
"We'll that's kind of the whole point baby boy" Papa said as they would chuckled and we started walking to the next house
Eventually my bucket was about full of candy and I started to drag my feet
"I think it's time we head back now baby boy" Daddy said
"Nuuuu! I still twick or tweating" I whined
"We need to get you all cuddled up in bed baby I'll even let you have five pieces of your candy before you go to bed Hm?" Daddy offered
I thought for a second before finally giving in
"Okayyy, can we do dis tomorrow?" I asked
"Sadly no honey Halloween is only once a year" Papa explained
A pout came to my face
"But! You can wear your Halloween costume whenever" Daddy said trying to avoid tears or a tantrum
I still pouted but I'm glad there was that so I just slowly nodded my head as we started heading back home
At the end of the night I ate my five / six pieces of candy cause papa snuck me one more when Daddy wasn't looking, and we watched Coraline but halfway through the movie I decided to rest my eyes for a moment but eventually drifted to sleep
Halloween is the coolest

Hey guys....yeahhhh it's been a hot minute sorry I haven't updated I've been working on other story's and school and life things recently and truthfully I don't see this story going much farther so I will be making and ending chapter soon unless you guys come up with something you want to see (you can comment or message me) I will do that but this story is ending soon but don't fret I have soooo many story's to come like a lot I'm not joking but anyways I wanted y'all to have this Halloween special and I hope you all have a very Happy Halloween 🎃!!
