Mays POV:

I sit down at the hill again, god how could this happen?! How could I let this happen? I had my weapons not with me for ONE TIME and this happens. Just because I was so dumb, Newt needed to pay. His whole face is covered in bruises and his lip and left eyebrow is bleeding, I think he didn't even notice the eyebrow. My thoughts get interrupted once again as Newt sits down next to me.

Newt: "hey..."

Me: "hey..." I look at him and his face looks terrible, I can see the pain in his eyes, "oh my god... I am so sorry"

Newt: "for what? Your bad taste in friends?" He chuckles and wipes away the blood on his lip again. I raise my hand to his eyebrow and slowly wipe away the blood there. He slowly let's down his hand and looks at me confused.

Me: "that you needed to handle my situation" I say after a while breaking the eye contact and chuckle.

Newt: "wasn't your fault"

Me: "wouldn't have happened if I wouldn't have been so naive... god I leave my weapons one god damn time and this happens, how could I be so dumb?"

Newt: "oh so you are dumb because you thought you were safe with your family and friends? Interesting" he laughs and looks away from me into the sky

Me: „very funny, no seriously what if you wouldn't have been there?"

Newt: „well I was so no need to worry about what would have happened"

Me: „what were you even doing here?" I ask which makes newt blush and his eyes widen a bit

Newt: „uh well... I was searching for you and when I saw you talking I thought that I should wait and then everything escalated" infact I saw Timo going to you and was jealous(newt thoughts 😃)

Me: „so you heard everything?" I ask worrying that he might heard the fact that I am hiding something, he just nods. I look back at him trying to find out if he wanna know what Timo talked about.

Newt: „you don't have to tell me... I have secrets too" he says after a short while which makes me glad. As I said, everyone who knows, leaves.

Me: „Thank you... for helping me"

Newt: „anytime. Now come on love, it's time to sleep don't you think?" I smile again before answering

Me: „I'm not tired yet... I will come later" I smile and look up at newt who just stood up and held out his hand. He looks down at me and sits down again

Me: „what are you doing?"

Newt: „do you really think I am letting you alone after what just happened?" he chuckles and drives his hand through his hair, what makes him look even more attractive... May stop!
