chapter nine

I woke up and after I left last night Jamal must have went back. He called me at 2:43 am, 2:48 am and 4:39 am. He also texted me which is how I just woke up.

"Jade meet me at the nursery"

I got dressed and went into the living area.

"Where are you going" Oscar asked while the guys were sitting in our living area

"I have to go meet up with Jamal" I said grabbing my phone

I left the house and walked to the nursery.

"What Jamal" I asked looking at him

He had his shirt on his head and was sweating really bad.

"Here take my hoodie to wipe that off" I said

"No it's fine Jade" He said still looking at the lock boxes

I sat next to him while we got to work.

"27.. 42.. 27.. 42.. 27.. 42 do me right and make my dreams come true" Jamal said opening the lock box

"YOU'RE HEARTLESS" Jamal said throwing the box down looking disappointed

At this point we were both drenched in sweat.

"Come on boo you know I love you.. those other boxes didn't mean a thing.. you're the real deal" Jamal said while Monse walked up to us

"Am I interrupting something" Monse asked

"Where have you been" Jamal asked turning around

"I'm sorry I didn't see any of your messages until this morning" Monse said cluttering her words together

"What's all this" She asked finally realizing what's going on

"Jamal is trying to find the money and has been having a panic attack all morning" I said

"This is what Ricky left Chivo.. it holds the answers to Rollerworld I know it does that combo right there opens every box and still nothing.. we've been searching all night and nothing still nothing and there are dozens of boxes left to go" Jamal said

"Actually I just got here 2 hours ago" I said

"I think I have arthritis.. could it be juvenile arthritis.. am I still a juvenile" Jamal said looking at his hands

"Let me help you guys" Monse said walking past us as we turned to watch her

"Women please there is an order to this bottom to top left to right" Jamal said as he not noticing she got one of the lock boxes open

She turned around with a small paper that had numbers on it.

"I hate you" Jamal said as she smiled

"Let me see what you got" Jamal said looking at the paper

"Me too asshole" I said looking at it

"What are you guys doing" Ruby asked walking up to us

"This is trespassing" Ruby said as we all took a double glance at his face

He was wearing makeup.

"Um is there anything you want to tell us" Jamal said

"About what" Ruby asked confused

"That whole thing" Monse said pointing her hand at his face
