SPECIAL: Addicted To Him

48 16 25

By gripping onto the thin thread
I dangle over the edge
Below me a pit of uncertainty
Where the monsters of my mind thrive

I remain trapped in the small cage
My mind giving refusal to let go and set me free
But as I am freed
I still hold on
In hopes to keep my sanity
And run from the dark fog that follows

He is the reason I refuse to let go
A psycho craving the darkness forever
Fueled by the blood on his fingers
He is evil in its truest form
Sinister in every movement

Darkness drilled so far into his bones
That he became one with it
And as much as I don't want to let go
Of my thin thread
I find myself utterly mesmerized
By the shadows that follow him
Bending to every need and command
I try to fight the desire
But I let go and fall

Becoming consumed
Becoming addicted
Addicted to his darkness
And becoming the sinister presence
That forever stands by his side
