"Oh crap they're going to be late" jake said getting up while rummaging through his dresser for his clothes, he quickly brushed his teeth and rushed to wake up the rest
Jake sat down brushing Ramona's hair, peter already made breakfast for the two girls.
Jake puts the two girls in the back seat of his car, he knew Gloria didn't have to go but she hates not saying bye to romona.
"Alright romana be good and make lots of friends" jake said as he was eye level to her, "romana promise me you'll do your best" peter said putting his pinky out.
"I promise daddy" she grinned as she interlocked her pinky with his, "bye uncle jakey" she said hugging jake.
"Bye Gloria see you later" Romona said as she hugged Gloria, "bye" Gloria said
"Gloria were going grocery shopping while your dad works" jake said before Gloria squealed by joy
"Thanks jake" peter said before he left
Jake arrived at the grocery putting Gloria in the seat that was in the shopping cart.
"Try reading the list" jake said handing her his notebook.
"A a pple" she read as she made faces while she tried reading it
"Good job" he smiled as he went to the produce aisle.
"Cute kid" jake heard a man say, he turned around and stood bout a foot away was a tall man.
The man was darker skin tone and dressed very urban with his rolled up jeans, timberland boots, and lastly the button down which had two buttons open revealing his chest.
"Oh she's not mine" jake chuckled
"I know who you are" the stranger smiled, for some reason jake felt comfortable around him.
"Are you a fan?" Jake asked, "not so much I did like that film source code" he replied
"What's your name?" Jake asked, "Zach" he answered
"I'm Gloria" the 5 year old said with a grin, "hello Gloria nice to meet you" Zach said as he walked towards them
"What are the Hollywood family doing in this small town?" Zach asked standing in front of jake which Zach was much taller than jake by a couple of inches.
"Maggie wanted a normal life for them" jake replied
"Well this place is perfect for normal" Zach smiled, "we have the best schools but other than that were plain like rice" Zach joked
"That's good to know" jake smiled, "wanna come to the fall fair?" Zach asked
"What's that?" Jake asked confused
"It's a time where everyone from the town come and have fun with games and dancing" Zach replied
"We'll be there when?" Jake asked, "In two days" Zach said
"Gloria you can meet all the young folks here" Zach said to Gloria which made Gloria smile.
"Jake you've made a new friend here" Zach said, "thanks" jake smiled giving Zach a handshake
"I'll let you get back to shopping" Zach said as they all said goodbyes.
