chapter 4- a bit of a mess

Loki had arrived to the Avengers tower and Thor had shown him to his room that was inbetween Natasha and Thor's room, though sense thor didn't stay on earth long his room was pretty unused

The floor contained most of the Avengers rooms, the floor above however held Tony and peppers room, then ryleys room and Peters room, as well as Harleys room for when he decided to hang around

Each room was very big, definitely enough room for basic things and so much more, not to mention personal bathrooms and walk in closets

Loki being an absolute queen definitely took a likeing to his walk in closet as soon as he saw it, he also noted that there was already a decent amount of clothes in there as well as a note

"I'LL LEAVE YOU TO SETTLE IN DEAR BROTHER" thor smiled at his mischievous brother

"Yes, and for the love of Asgard turn off the caps in your voice please" Loki rolled his eyes before entering his room and closing the door in Thor's face

He picked up the note and opened it

'For what it's worth I don't judge you for 2012, I hope you like the clothes'

The note wasn't signed, and that's all it said

The ravenette wondered who could've wrote it, but he did however like the clothes

It was now late that night, most of everyone was asleep, except for ryley who was listening to music through her earbuds and making cookies while dancing

Little did she know though Loki had just entered the kitchen to hear her rapping to Eminem and dancing slightly

He watched her curiously for a moment, she had on pink short shorts and I large black T-shirt, her long brown hair was tied into a point tail and she had some flour on her face and shirt from baking

He gained her attention eventually and she dropped her mixing bowl and egg and flour went everywhere

Loki chucked softly at the clumsy midgardian that now had a mixing bowl on her head after she had fallen

He went over to her and picked the bowl up off of her head after kneeling down

"Well hello there, need some help, love?" The god asked softly to not spook the girl more

"N-no- but thank you" Ryley stuttered out and stood up

"Are you sure? I can help you clean up? After all the mess is partially my fault" Loki said

Ryley just stood there after he stood up and she met his emerald green eyes

'He has no right to be this pretty-' she thought to herself

"Miss?" Loki asked snapping her back into reality

She gasped slightly because she had just zoned out staring at him and she face palmed and then started cleaning up mentally yelling at herself

'Midgardians are weird..' The god thought to himself as he observed the nervous girl

While she wasn't looking, he used his magic to clean everything up including the poor girls hair

Ryley noticed this and looked around

"Wow-" She mumbled "Uh- th-thank you Mr uh, loki?"

"Just Loki is fine, and no need to thank me" Loki stated

"Uh... Want a cookie?" The brunette asked shoving a plate of cookies into the gods direction

He gave her a polite smile and took one of the cookies and ate it

Usually he wasn't this nice but there was something about this girl that made feel as if he didn't have to put on an act

"These are good, I must say though, I don't remember seeing you the last time I was here?" He asked

"O-oh that's because I wasn't living here yet, I just moved in about 4 years ago- in all honesty it was barely a years difference, I wasn't in New York till 2013 though" Ryley said

Loki nodded in response and then took note of the dark circles under the girls eyes

"You look tired" He pointed out

She gave a soft smile though "I'm okay, what about you though? How come you aren't sleeping?"

Loki shrugged "I haven't slept much since I was thrown into the Asgardian prison"

Ryley nodded

"That's understandable, both of us should probably go back to our rooms though, if you try one for the teas for relaxing it could help, then there's also melatonin in the cabinet near the fridge, don't take more then two gummies if you decide to take them though, hopefully that helps, I'll see you around Loki" She said, she gave another soft smile before going up to her room leaving the cookies on the kitchen table 

Loki said a thank you, but she was already too far to hear it, he looked at the teas and decided to make one to drink

Sadly it didn't help, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless
