Lottie had a long road, and she still wouldn't take a bottle, so she was on a feeding tube to help her eat a little bit better
"Oh Lottie what is going on with you anymore" Logan says as he tries to feed her a little bit that day cause the doctor's wanted to get her broke from the feeding tube, so she could go home and be with her siblings at home
Lottie took the bottle for daddy that day for some strange reason
"Thank you baby girl" he says as he rocks her in his arms hoping to get her to settle down, and take the rest of her formula
Lottie pulled away from the bottle after a while
"Lottie you still had some more to go baby girl" he says as he looks at how much she drank
Logan tries to give it to her and she doesn't accept it at all
"I guess you took some and that what matters the most sweetie" he says as he sits her up to burp her
Lottie let out some burps and wanted to snuggle into daddy's strong arms
"I'll have the nurses put the rest of the formula in your feeding tube" he says as he gets up with her, and lays her in the crib while he takes the bottle back to the nurses station, so the rest of the formula can go in her
"Daddy will be right back" he says to Lottie as he gives her a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room to give it to the nurse
As he was leaving his phone rings
"Hi Erin" he says when he answers it
"How is Lottie doing?" Erin asks as she gets everything ready for the Henderson's to fly to Tennessee to St. Jude's for the little girls
"She took some I do not know if she is gaining enough weight, so she can come home to stay. I hate to leave her here while we are in Tennessee" he says as he heads to the nurses station to return the bottle that Lottie drank a little bit of that afternoon for her feeding
"Me too check to see how much she weighs and if she can come home with the weight cause we got to get going to St. Jude's for the little girl's in a few days" Erin says to him
"I will I am going to see when Lottie is going to be coming home, and if she will have to have the feeding tube in her side" he says as he continues to head to the nurses station
"Okay I will see you when you get home" Erin says as she hangs up the phone, so Logan can talk to the nurses about little Lottie and to see if she hit her milestone to come home from the hospital
"Yeah i will be home soon" he says as he hangs up as he approaches the nurses station with the bottle
"How did Lottie tolerate the feeding?" the nurse asks him
"See for yourself" he says as he shows the nurse the bottle that was not even half gone
"It looks like we are going to put the rest of it in her feeding tube" the nurse says as she heads down to Lottie's room to put the rest of the formula in the feeding tube that was attached to Lottie's stomach
"When will Lottie be coming home?" Logan asks as they head back down to Lottie's room so she could get the rest of her formula
"It's hard to say right now she is gaining weight slowly. She has to hit that mark before she is released back to you and the misses" the nurse says as they head back to Lottie's room
"Does she have weigh in today?" he asks the nurse
"Yes Lottie will have weigh in here in a few minutes to see how much she gained, and if she gained enough she will be released back home" the nurse says as she puts the formula in the feeding tube for Lottie
"Will I get a crash course on how to care for Lottie's feeding tube?" he asks as he sits down in the chair that was by Lottie's bed
"Yeah everyone who has a feeding tube their caregiver will get a crash course on how to insert food into in, and how to keep it clean" the nurse says as she leaves the room with the empty bottle
"At least that's good. Now let's hope you gained enough weight to come home Lottie" he says as he rubs her tiny hand
Lottie was going to make her weight, so she was going to be released in a few days back to Logan and Erin
(Few days later)
"Now to go bring Lottie home and then once she is home we will head to the airpirt to head to St. Jude's" he says as he gets Lottie outfit to wear when she come home from the hospital
"Yeah I'll be getting the luggage loaded, and getting the girls on the bus, so as soon as you come home we will imediately head to the airport to catch our flight to Tennessee" Erin says as she brings down the luggage that is going to go on the bus
"Here let me help you with some of it" he says as he loads the strollers, and the wagons onto the bus lift
"Thanks Logie. Plus I am going to radio the team to see if they are loaded, and what time they are going to the airport" Erin says as she raises the lift on the bus, so Logan could put the strollers and the wagons on the bus
"You are quite welcome babe I will do anything to help you out" he says as he kisses her as he heads to the hospital to get Lottie and bring her home cause they will need to head to the airport in a few hours
Erin continues to load the bus with everything that they will need when they are in Tennessee while Logan was gone to the hospital to get Lottie and bring her home
(Hospital)
"Okay Lottie I am here to bring you home cause we are going to be taking a trip to get your big sisters better" he says as he enters the hospital to get Lottie from where she was
Logan was excited to pull Lottie from this pop stand once and for all
"Hi Lottie are you ready to go home huh pretty girl?" he asks as he comes into the room to get her and get her ready to come home
Lottie gives him a great big smile
"I take that as a yes" he says as he starts getting her ready to go home
The nurse comes into the room show Logan how to take care of Lottie's feeding tube that she will have in her body until she can take foods on her own without bringing it back up until she outgrows this on her own
(Much later)
"Any questions/" the nurse asks Logan
"Nope I think I am good" he says as he puts Lottie in her carrier to go home once and for all
"Okay if you have any problems don't hesitate to call us" the nurse says as she leaves the room
"Will do" Logan says as he buckles Lottie in her car seat
