RARE'S POV

My eyes snapped open when I heard a big bang from the door.

"Bullshit!"

My eyes went wider when the guy sleeping next to me shouted and in a hurry, he went for the door. But before he made hisself out, "Im gonna lock the door don't go out no matter what, am i understood?!" Madiin at mabilis niyang sabi sakin.

I nod thrice, and in a moment, he left me there in the room, with my heart racing so fast. I can feel my pulses throb in a rythm.

Naririnig ko silang nagsisigawan sa labas. Mas kinabahan ako, ano ba kasing nangyayari? Hanggang sa napatayo na ako sa kama nang marinig ko na silang nagsusuntokan. I can hear things being thrown.

No. No, no, Key!

I ran for the door to open it, but it was too late.

The apartment was a total chaos. But when I wander my sight all over the place, wala na sila. Wala nang tao. Wala na si...

"Keeeeeeeeeey!"

I cried out. Who the fuck are those people? And why the hell they took Key? I froze, ngayon ko lang nafeel to, na para akong nabalisa. Nanginginig akong tumakbo sa may window, there, a two black cars drove away infront of the building.

I covered my mouth with my hands upon on the shocking incident just happened.

They took Key. They took my love.

I searched Key's phone and found it on the drawer beside our bed. I wonder kung kilala niya yung kumuha sakaniya, atsaka nung nasa Paris kami, I wonder kung san siya galing nung umuwi siyang may pasa sa mukha niya.

Why is he now being so secretive?

I scrolled down to find kung sino yung mga tumatawag sakaniy or tinatawagan niya. I found my name a hundred times, then a caller named Prior was the recent person who talked to. Who is this Prior?

Tiningnan ko yung mga messages pero isa lang yung conversation dun, yung conversation namin. Napapikit na lang ako. I need to find Key. Baka anong gawin nila sakaniya eh.

I opened my laptop nang maaalala kong kagabi ginamit yun ni Key, maybe I can find something from there. Clinick ko agad yung history.

It's a bank website.

Mas gumulo yung isip ko nang makita kung ano mang andito. It's Key's account. I bit my lip as I read it, what the fuck is this?!

Napatayo ako.

Sabi ni Key wala siyang pera, na di niya ma afford na magbayad sa rent pero ano to? Every month may pumapasok na 3 million dollars sa account niya.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Ano ba Key?! Ang sakit na ng ulo ko punyeta ka!"

Napasubsob ako sa kama, habang humahagulgol. For once, gusto ko i.shut down yung katawan ko, yung isip ko, kasi di ko na naiintindihan ang mga nangyayari. Ano ba kasing nililihim niya? Is this why he always feel sorry? Sana kasi nagsalita siya. Sana pinaliwanag niya sakin para alam ko yung gagawin ko.

Is he protecting me?

Napabangon ako. Dahil ba di niya sinasabi sakin kasi gusto niyang di na ako makisali pa sa gulo na nangyayari ngayon? Is that it?

*Knock knock*

Napatigil ako. Who is that? Si Key?

There's a hope in me na sana siya nga. Na sana bumalik na siya. I went for the door, I grab the knob and paused. I exhaled deeply, "Key." I whisper, and turned it.

A man smiling like a devil standing right before me.

Napaatras ako konti, "V-virgo." His gaze deepen when I mention his name, bakit siya andito? Anong kailangan niya?

Walang alinlangang sinira ko yung pinto pero dahil sa nabasa niya yung kilos ko, napigilan niya yun. "Go away!" I screamed.

He pushed himself in at sinira yung pinto. He even unlocked it.

"What do... y-you want?" Sabi ko habang umaatras. Unti-unting lumapit siya sakin. Not a chance that I will let him touch me. I scan his new exterior, sobrang nagiba na yung itsura niya ngayon, he seemed stronger.

And more evil.

"Rare." His voice is quite low and tough. A very familiar tone to me.

I grabbed something na ipapalo ko sana sakaniya nang biglang may sinabi siyang nakapatigil sakin.

"Do you want to see him?"

Nanglaki yung mata ko, galit na tiningnan ko siya. "You... You're the one who took him!" I shouted. Pagkatapos nun, ako na mismong lumapit sakaniya, I banged heavily my fists to him, "Ano bang ginawa niya sayo?! Ha?! Bakit mo kami ginugulo?!" Crying, I clenched my hands to his shirt, tiningnan ko siya sa mata, "Bring him back... ibalik mo siya sakin. Please." Napasalampa ako sa sahig nang di ko na kinaya. "I'm begging you."

Di ko inaasahan ang ginawa niya pagkatapos, he hook his arms on my knees and my back. He pulled me up and brought me to the cr. Tulirong tiningnan ko lang siya, pagod na ako, gusto ko nang mag self-destruct kung pwede lang.

Kumuha siya nang face towel sa may closet, binasa niya yun at piniga, he then went infront of me and kneel since nakaupo ako sa toilet. Hinawi niya yung buhok ko, he even caressed my face, napatingin ako sa mata niya.

This is the man I offered my whole heart, and he just broke it.

Pinahid niya sa mukha ko yung towel. I blinked twice. Why is he doing this? And the way he touched me is so full of gentleness. What is he up to?

"V-virgo."

"Hmmm?"

"Why are doing this? Why are you here? Pano moko nahanap?" I asked calmly at tiningnan ko siya sa mata para malaman kung nagsasabi siya ng totoo. I've known this man for years and his maneuvers are easy to get.

He smiled.

He smiled?! May sasabihin pa sana ako nang biglang hinawakan niya yung ulo ko, and to my surprise, he glued both of our foreheads to each other. I can see him closing is eyes.

His breath lingered into me as he say, "You are now safe."
