υ. kakoneirophobia - fear of nightmares

Aza sat at the small wooden table in a reasonably sized kitchen, drinking a cup of tea. Across from her, a middle-aged woman prepared dinner, humming as she cut onions. She turned to face Aza with a smile, holding a warm tea kettle and held it aloft, tilting it towards Aza, "More tea, dear?"

"No, thank you, Sally," Aza responded, giving her a small smile. She stood to her feet, gently pushing out her chair and standing to her feet. "I should probably go check on them, make sure everyone still has all their limbs."

Sally chuckled and nodded, turning back to the counter and wiping her hands before continuing to prepare the food. Before Aza could leave the kitchen, Sally turned her head to address the girl once more, "Oh, please tell them that dinner will be ready in about a half an hour."

"Okay," Aza acknowledged, giving Sally another smile and walking out of the small doorway towards the living room. Percy and Annabeth sat on the couch together; his arm was slung over her shoulder, and the blonde's curls were spread over his neck and shoulders, even managing to get a few curls into his mouth.

"Dinner is soon," Aza announced, plopping down beside them on the couch and laughing when Annabeth instantly moved, shifting closer to Aza and cuddling up beside her. She looked up to Percy with a shit-eating grin, flicking her eyebrows. "Looks like your girlfriend is mine now," Aza mouthed to the son of Poseidon.

Percy gave her a playful glare and made a half-strangled whining noise, reaching forward to tug at the sleeve of Annabeth's grey sweater. "Annabeth, I'm your boyfriend."

Annabeth cuddled closer to Aza, closing her eyes and yawning - the action made several curls get stuck in Aza's mouth, the way the girl's hair always managed to do. "And?" She questioned rhetorically, a slight smile tugging at her lips as Aza began to absentmindedly braid the hair into a loose form.

Percy whined once more and called out, "Jason, make your girlfriend stop stealing my girlfriend." A door closed, and footsteps came from the hallway in the apartment. Jason approached the couch, standing in front of Aza.

"Come on, love, why don't we set the table for Mrs. Jackson," He suggested, blue eyes twinkling as he gazed lovingly at the girl. "Leo and Piper were supposed to, but they're still picking up dessert from the store."

Aza pouted, holding on tighter to Annabeth in pseudo-protection, giving Percy a jokingly possessive glare. "But I want to - woah!" Jason didn't wait for her to finish protesting; he bent down and swooped Aza up, cradling her bridal-style. Annabeth let out a startled yelp, falling into the empty air that Aza previously occupied.

"No, Annabeth," Aza called, reaching out her arm for the blonde, placing a hand in mock heart-break. Annabeth returned the gesture and called, "Aza!"

"I'll come back for you, my love!" Aza promised dramatically, grinning when Percy made disgruntled noises of protest, shuffling closer to his girlfriend. Annabeth settled back in his side, poking his cheek and giving him a teasing smile. "Just so you know, I'm only cuddling with you because Jason stole Aza."

Percy rolled his eyes and nodded, cuddling closer to the blonde girl. "Yeah, yeah." Jason carried Aza away, finally setting her down once they had reached the kitchen table. The two joked and laughed as they set the table, sneaking in hugs and short kisses whenever they passed the other.

"This is what you have to lose," a disembodied voice echoed around the kitchen, but Jason didn't react at all - Aza assumed only she heard it. "Aza-Everett, should you fail, this is what you will lose."
