quick a/n: how would u guys feel about me sometimes adding bonus chapters, of (for example) aza and percy and annabeth before heroes of olympus, or clarisse and aza on their own - things that have happened/add to my little cannon but are fun and aren't directly related to this plot

"No one help Aza," the daughter of Phobos gasped dramatically, readjusting her grip on the Celestial bronze. She rested it on her back, leaning over slightly to support the weight and holding it with sweaty hands, "Don't worry - yeah, you keep walking," She stumbled down the stairs after Leo and Hazel, glaring at their backs.

"Gods of Olympus," she heard Piper's voice before she saw the girl; Leo and Hazel hovered in the doorway of the infirmary, and Aza came to a stop beside them, huffing and once more adjusting her grasp on the sheet of metal, "What happened to you?"

"Super-sized McShizzle," Aza gave Piper a pained smile, leaning slightly against the wall. She frowned when the girl's kaleidoscopic eyes studied her forehead, and the girl broke out into a wide smile, "Oh, I have to hear this story."

"I'll tell you if you help me carry this," she offered, and Piper shuffled her feet, glancing at the floor. Aza rolled her eyes, and sighed dramatically, "No, no, don't worry, I'll carry it. Are Percy and Annabeth back yet?"

"-And Frank," Hazel interjected, and the girl nodded absentmindedly. Piper's shook her head, and she met Aza's eyes once more, "No, but-"

Aza dropped the sheet of Celestial bronze, and it thudded to the floor with a crash. She heard Coach Hedge yelp a few rooms down, and he stuck his head out the door, "Eh," before shutting the door and increasing the volume to his tv. The daughter of Phobos crouched beside the bed, and she gave Jason a magnificent smile, "Hey."

She immediately blushed, internally slapping herself - why was that the first thing she had said? Jason reached out his hand to cover hers, and Leo quickly excused himself, dragging the Celestial bronze behind him far less elegantly than Aza had. The son of Jupiter gave her a toothy smile, and his hand crackled with electricity. A familiar jolt shocked her, "Property of Leo McShizzle Valdez? Just about what happened while I was out?"

"Team Leo all the way," she cheered half-heartedly, pumping her fist in the air before reaching up with her free hand to desperately wipe at her forehead. Jason sighed, and shook his head, "I miss all the fun."

"I find taking a brick to the head to be incredibly fun," Aza grinned at him. A loud 'THUMP' sounded from above deck, and they all flinched. She glanced up at the ceiling, "Well, that must be-"

Annabeth and Percy raced down the hall, hovering in the doorway. Percy cautiously held a five-gallon plastic bucket, plugging his nose with one hand. Annabeth's curly-hair had become matted with something sticky; the son of Poseidon, too, was covered in it. Aza and Percy both pointed to each other simultaneously and began to howl with laughter.

"You smell-"

"Your forehead!"

"We ran into some tar monsters," Annabeth had to conceal her smile, and she raised her eyebrows at the dark-haired girl, "Hey, Jason - glad you're awake. Where's Leo."

As Hazel pointed down the hallway, "Engine room," the entire ship creaked and swayed violently in the water. Aza had to stumble to catch herself, and Percy cursed when he almost spilled the bucket of tar, "Uh, what was that?"

"Not Team Leo," Aza sighed, and she once more began to desperately rub her forehead, "If I were you, I'd go try to calm down those water nymphs."

"Great," Percy shoved the bucket of tar into his girlfriend's hands, who grimaced and gagged at the smell, "You guys help Leo." Annabeth, Hazel and Piper quickly excused themselves, yanking Frank after them. Aza blushed when Annabeth glanced over her shoulder, winking at her with a sly smile.
