Right after our scene together we sat there in the waiting room surrounded by the crew members. As the writers and directors go over the scenes that were just shot everyone waits for the call 'That's a Rap for today'.
I sat on the couch minding my own business when Silas came next to me taking a seat. He nudges my arm getting my attention, leaning over and whispering into my ear before licking his lips.
"Do you want to practice lines?"
The undertone of his sentence made me skeptical, making me raise my eyebrows and stare at his face, "Sure, what scene?"
"Our next scene for tomorrow."
"The kissing scene?"
Silas shrugs his shoulders trying to act cool when he knows very well he isn't–though the character he was set in was paying off for the whole crew. I was ready to give him my response when of course they eventually called it "That's a rap. See you guys tomorrow."
"Great job everybody," I called out before standing up and walking out leaving Silas without an answer. Giggling on my way out; I enjoyed teasing him even if it was for the first time.
I changed out of the work clothes and sat on the couch that was provided with my trailer. Where I had the chance to change out my outfits, makeup, and get my hair done inside of it. It was for all the main characters on set and I so happened to be one.
It was after hours while still sitting there reading my lines when a knock appeared to echo around my trailer. My thoughts said something else.
About time.
"Come in," I announced, knowing who's at the door.
And there came walking in Silas, "How did you know it was me?"
"I didn't."
"I think otherwise."
"Believe what you want just come in and close the door."
The question was: Is Silas confident enough to make a move on me? He sat down next to me pulling out his script and started to read his lines as I followed.
I knew he was good, but this was another level of Silas being this passionate in his lines.
He scrunched up his nose reading the last lines, he studied my posture that seemed uneasy. I notice his gaze that felt heavy, hot, and damn right delirious–the only thing setting the scene right was the song.
– Angel 2 me.
Impressive. Was all left in the air from hearing start to finish as the character had to kiss the girl and I was that girl: the innocent girl that let the guy kiss her as for the guy, Silas was the cool guy.
Our lips slowly paired off together, breathing together and grabbing all the right places. He leads the kiss taking things down a different path, a different direction from our characters. He was making his move while I sat there stunned.
Feeling everything, but a bit nervous.
Heart skipping a beat parting my lips that made me gasp a little, I closed my eyes, and his mouth met mines, hungry and searching. His lips moved with mine with an intensity I never experienced before.
