I was celebrating my happiness for winning against Yumeko but then suddenly someone harshly grabbed my hand and pushed me inside the janitor's closet "what do you want Saotome?" I groaned "I know you bribed reo san," she said "so what, those cards were trick cards anyway so both of us cheated" I replied
"And besides, in this gambling game, the only way you can get to the top is by cheating and bribing unless you are a crazy ass woman like Yumeko and kirari. "I know you are correct but I don't wanna admit it," she said as we both burst out laughing. we engaged in some small talks. Saotome is quite fun actually.
"Okay let's get to the problem, how do we increase Yumeko's rank now?" mary asks "hm lemme think, my dad has a toy shop so I'll order some trick cards from there to play," I said "hm I see, sounds good," she said "also we can't let kirari know that we're friends" mary warned as I nodded then we went to our respective classes
I went to the student council room but saw no one except ririka, kirari, and Sayaka. "morning hirari" kirari chimed "you look awfully happy today?" I asked "because I have a mission for you," she said "I should've known better from the great kirari" I chuckled "Sayaka explain" kirari said
"hehe so we want you to act like a double agent, so you will be friends with Yumeko and get info from her" Sayaka said "and you have already befriended mary right? so Yumeko won't be that hard" kirari added "wait how do you know that I'm friends with mary," I asked "I can't tell you that, but what I can tell you is that we have our eyes on you 24/7" kirari said while I gulped.
MARY POV
it was lunch time and as usual i sat with Ryota and Yumeko. "guys, I talked to hirari today and befriended her" I said "oh that's cool" Yumeko said "she's innocent I trust her but I really don't trust kirari" I said "till the time she's under kirari we can't trust her completely" I added, "okay, so you mean to say get close to her but not too close?" Ryota asked while munching on his onigiri. "pretty much" I replied
"she isn't well adapted to our system yet so this is our chance to turn her against kirari" Yumeko said giving an evil smile "you get me," I said. "oh kirari, we're a step ahead of you" i sighed
KIRARI POV
everyone left the council room after the meeting except ririka and Sayaka. "guys, team meeting" I said as ririka and Sayaka came closer to me. "yn isn't adapted to the system well so it's easy for mary to grab her" I said "exactly, yn is extremely trustable, but I can't say the same thing about mary and Yumeko" ririka said "I have an idea, ririka you will be with her wherever she goes" I said. "just assist her, they wont be able to convince her if ririka will be there" i smirked.
