~~~Manik's POV~~~

I was standing there, I don't know what I was thinking while saying such bad tings about her, I touched my eyes, there were tears in my eyes, for the very first time, I had tears, that too for a girl! I wiped my tears, got out of the cabin and I was going to Nandini's house, I need to apologies to her, I unlocked my car when Soha back hugged me,

Soh-" Manik! where were you? I was waiting for you since last 15 minutes, I hope you do remember about our date!"

I was going to cancel the date but then I realised something.

~~~Flashback~~~

After Nandini pushed me  and came out of the grip, I realised something, I realised that maybe, she is the girl who can really challenge me and my ego, I could see some emotions, some feelings for me, whether its anger or irritation, I don't care, I just don't wanna see sadness and tears in her eyes, because of me, but I need to know the reason behind her other feelings regarding me, I need to find out and for that I will use Soha, smirk formed on my face and I left for the cabin. (this is after manik and Nandini almost kissed, the part from 'sudden realisation')

Now I need to fix things up, I cant see hatred for me in her eyes, I will fix things up.

Manik and Soha left for their date, when they reached, manik took soha's hand and made her sit, after sitting, he directly came on point.

Man-" Soha, you deserve someone worthy, and I am not worthy. You deserve love that I wont be able to give, Its not you, its me I-"

Soh-" You're breaking up with me?"

Man-" umm..Yes"

Soh-" What's wrong Manik? tell me, maybe I can fix things up.."

Man-" There is nothing that you could do-"

Soh-" Well there should be because I..I..-"

Man-" Don't say that, you yourself are not sure that's why you cant say that."

Soh-" Well I guess, but I really felt a connection, with you!" there were tears in her eyes, she truly felt it, but the reality is always bitter!

Man-" I am so sorry Soha, but we could be fri-"

Soh-" No need to get awkward Manik, I know you're just saying this to make me feel good, I will need to move on.. don't worry, I will be fine but now I need to be alone for sometime, so can I go home?"

Manik looked at her, she was trying her best to control her emotions, tears, which were threatening her to shed, but she was a strong girl though she behaves like a child sometimes, she truly was matured enough to understand him, that time manik realised that he has hurt two women who are important to him, one workwise and second, well he is yet to discover things!

Man-" sure, lemme drop you."

Soh-" Its okay, I will take a cab."

And soha left.

9:30 pm

Nandini was all gloomy, abhi told what happened in office to navya, and well, she was hell angry on Manik for saying such things about Nandini, for judging her, but she was not sure why Nandini was this sad because, Nandini has never been affected by comments like these, she shuts haters mouths, but this is the first time Navya has ever seen Nandini, she decided to have a talk with her later.

Nandini was in the balcony, sipping coffee, when Navya too came with a cup of coffee, they had a comfortable silence, when Navya decided to cut it out.

Nav-" So..whats up?"

Nan-"sky"

Nav-" haha joke tha?"

Nan-" Haa toh"

Nav-" I don't like jokes"

Nan-" and I don't like you!"

Nav-" Oh really?"

and they laughed. after sometime, Nandini got emotional said-

Nan-" I don't know what's up with me, I have never been this sad by someone's comment, you know me, agar koi aur bol hota toh uska me sar phood deti, but when Manik said those things" she choked, navya looked at her with sadness and rubbed her back and she continued," I don't know, kuch bol hi nahi pai me navya, for once in my life I felt something, and that person said so many things about me!"

she sniffs, navya was so overwhelmed that she was not able to console her best friend, her soulmate!

Nan-" you know that I always denied the fact that even I could be loved and can love someone but after this inci-"

Nav-" Don't you think love is a very big and heavy word to use here?"

Now Nandini was in confusion, Navya was waiting for her reply, and abhi too, he listened to everything they talk, he too was getting restless for her answer, Nandini took a deep breath and said

Nan-" No, I don't think so."

Next moment, she was rewarded with a hug, a tight one by Navya, and Abhi, she was hell confused

Nav-" My bestie is in love!" she cheered!

Abhi too had tears in his eyes, finally her sister will get all the love she deserves, though Manik acted like a total jerk to her, Abhimanyu knows that manik is good at heart and will keep his nandu the happiest

Nan-" Not so soon, I like him, but after today, I don't feel worthy of any love!"

and again a tear rolled down her eye, they were in the balcony when they heard the door bell.

Navya went to attend the door, abhi left too behind navya and Nandini went to her room, locked it up and sat on the bed, numb.

a tear rolled down, she wiped it, yet again, her eyes betrayed her and tears welled up, she heard a knock on the door, she wiped her tears, applied talcum powder and opened the door.

she was shocked to see Manik on the door.

She was about to close the door when Manik swiftly came in, locked the door and hugged Nandini.
