Ezra's POV

I woke up and for the first time in a while I felt well-rested.

I was starting to get up, but then I felt a weight on my chest. I looked down and I saw that Thea was still sleeping peacefully.

God, she looks breathtaking. She has all of her makeup off which is showing some of her freckles that are spread across her cheeks.

"I can feel you staring at me, Ezra." Thea said to me while getting up from my chest.

I just stared at her and smiled, not denying my actions. She reached over to the nightstand and got her glasses.

"So how'd you sleep? I apologize if I kicked you or maybe even punched you a few times" she said to me while laughing. "No, don't worry you didn't kick or punch me, I actually had a very nice sleep." I said to her,

"Everyone get your asses up, we are leaving in 45 minutes." Alex shouted from outside of the door.

I grunted in frustration. I saw that Thea was already walking towards the door to leave.

"Don't be late Ezra, my brother hates being behind on schedule, and we can't be late for the shipment" Thea said to me. "Yes ma'am" I said back to her. She flipped me off and exited the room.

"You guys definitely fucked" I heard Riven say from outside of the door. Before he could say anything else I heard a loud grunt, and I only suspected that Thea caused that reaction. "What the hell, Thea. Why do you always go for the dick" Riven said in pain. "You know I'm not a morning person" Thea said.

I laughed for a while at the two's antics and then I got ready.

Thea's POV

After I dealt with Riven I had to hurry up and get changed. I wanted to have enough time to figure out a plan before we left. I would be lying If I said I wasn't nervous about this mission. A lot of suspicious things were happening with the business and I didn't know what to expect.

Before I got too much in my head I decided to get ready. I put on my usual attire for when we went on missions. I first put on my bullet proof vest then a long sleeve tight black shirt underneath it. I slipped on all black jeans that had a gun holster on the left side and a knife pocket on the right. I put on my black combat boots, and I took out my weapon bag from underneath the bed and got what I needed.

After I checked that I had everything I made my way downstairs. I walked down the steps and everyone was already down there.

"Okay before we leave, I need to inform Ezra and Xavier on how we do things first." I said looking over to Ezra.

"Thea, Ezra, Xavier, and I will be on the ground at the first stop. Alex, and Riven will be in the van looking at the cameras and seeing if anything is coming up from behind. Hunter you will be at the top looking over, and sniping from up above." Anastasia says to the guys.

"We will all be hooked up with ear pieces so that we can all hear each other." I say to them while passing the equipment out.

"At the shipment stop the Valerio men will be picking it up, we do not attack until we see people that are not with us." Alex says to the group. "Is everything clear?" Alex says. We all nod in agreement, and start to walk out the door.

We all hop into the van and make our way over. Everyone is loading up their guns and getting things ready. I looked over beside me at Ezra to see that he was already staring at me. "Are you nervous?" He asked. "I mean I always get nervous about these kinds of things, but today is different for some reason. Things have just been weird with the business which makes me concerned." I say answering his question. "Are you nervous?" I asked him. " I'm not nervous about the exact mission, I'm more nervous because I feel like I have additional people that I have to look over." Ezra said to me. "Well don't worry about us, we have been doing this for a while."

The car came to a stop and I was met with a run-down building. We all hopped out of the car and set up our positions. I got to my position and spoke over the earpiece, "Is everyone okay, and in their positions?" They all said yes and with that we heard a truck pull into the lot, with three other cars behind it. I looked at their license plate and it said Valerio. We were in the clear for now.

As the guys started to unload the truck into the cars we heard motorcycle engines roar from down the street. "Guys incoming, they are here" Alex says. "There seems to be three motorcycles, and two trucks coming behind it as well. Thea they are coming from your way, be ready." I got up from the position I was in and ran over to one of the polls that was closest to me. I saw them coming, but they didn't see me. I tried to look at one of their license plates but it was to fast

"Hey Riven can you maybe zoom in on their name tags, and see who they are working for." I whispered into the earpiece. "No, I can't see anything. I don't think they have a name" he answered me.

I shot out one of the men from behind right in the back. I shot him with a silencer so they didn't know I was there yet. I knew I shot him right in the heart so it wouldn't be long until he died.

With the guy down the motorcycle went with him, and that caused the attention from the others. "Man down! Man down!" with that a bunch of men got out of the truck and started to come towards us. The other men that were in the motorcycles, still continued on getting the shipment. "Anastasia, you and Xavier get Ezra and I through so we can go get the guys that are after the shipment." I said to Ana "Okay we will go first." Ana says. I see her make the first move and she is shooting people from left and right. I see Xavier come up from beside her and just go batshit crazy. He pulled out knives and threw them at  anyone and everyone

"Go now!" Anastasia yelled out to Ezra and I. Ezra ran first and was guarding me from anyone that was attempting to shoot at me.

I saw five of the Valerio men down, and the guys that were on the motorcycle were loading up the truck with our shipment. Ezra shot one of the men in the head, while shooting the other in the foot. I snuck up behind one of the men and got him in a choke-hold with my knife. "Who the fuck are you working for" I asked him. He started to laugh. Why the fuck was this man laughing. "Oh puta, you don't know what's coming for you." The man said. "She asked you a question, dick" Ezra said, pointing a gun at his head.

"I will never tell you whore. I'm loyal to my leader. It will happen when you least expect it," he said. Before I could get another word out he got my hand and got the knife I was holding and slit his throat. Before he took his last breaths he said "Long live T.S." Who the fuck is T.S

Xavier and Ana got everyone else and made their way towards us. "What the fuck just happened." Xavier said. " They are working for somebody and they threatened us saying shit like it will happen when we least expect it." Ezra answered them. "Don't worry Thea it was just another stupid threat."

This didn't feel like another threat.

"Yeah it's fine, let's go. Alex, we are heading back. Tell father that we secured the shipment." I started to walk with my head down, I hated the unknown.

We all got in the car and it was a silent car ride for a while, we were all just taking in what just happened. "Hey bitches, stop fucking sulking over some pussy's that threatened us and let's go partying" Xavier screamed out.

"I'm down!" Ana said from beside Xavier. "Let's get hammered!" Riven and Hunter screamed out. They all looked over at me and awaited my answer. Even though I didn't want to go after still being shaken up from what just happened, I thought It would be good to have a couple of drinks.

"Fine."
