Chapter 10

Erin couldn't help but sigh as she watched the antics of Natsu and how he took it as another challenge which she couldn't help but sigh.

Lucy caught sight of Erin's distressed and couldn't help but get worried. She saw that the latter is starting to get withdrawn once again at them, noticing the angle of her posture and the distance.

Happy and Charle fly around the corners of the place to find an exit when they report there was none at all. "Dammit! But we came so far!" Natsu whined as he gritted his teeth in frustration.

"Now that it's come to this, we may need to draw a map on somebody's body." Lily said while the others looked thoughtful. Lucy suddenly thought of something else as she faced Natsu. "Come to think of it, Natsu, what about the games?"

"Juvia is filling in for me."

"Wait, can you teleport us away from here, Erin?" Lily suddenly asks, making all of them look at Erin expectantly. She shakes her head and sighs. "It doesn't work that way, Lily. Even if it is, there's something messing with my magic."

They all drop their heads in disappointment as they try to find the exit once more.

Suddenly, Charle shouted, gaining their attention. "Everyone, there's a passage over this way!"

"Good job, Charle!" Happy enthusiastically said as they all follow Charle which is a very narrow passage. "This is pretty tight." Lucy said as she tries to get her upper body through while Natsu pushes her.

Erin sighs at the very back watching them as they all forgot what she could do. 'I could shrink them so that we could all walk through without trouble but,' she heaved another sigh as she let herself shrink a bit and walk easily. 'Suit yourselves then.'

After a few minutes, they got out of the passage gathering the oxygen they lack when passing through the narrow passage.

'Erin...'

Erin's eyes snapped open when she heard her name spoken with such raspiness (don't even know if that's even a word), heavy and full of hostility. Her eyes discreetly roam around as she finds the source of the voice when she feels a coursing pain travel in her body.

'Shit!' Erin cursed mentally as she mutely gasped while using the loudness of Natsu as a cover. Although it's a bit too late when Natsu's head snaps at her. "Hey, ya okay?!" He asks as their gazes suddenly land at her making her freeze for a while.

Erin thought of a thousand scenarios and excuses when Wendy suddenly exclaimed gathering their attention away from making her release a sigh of relief. "Somebody's there!" They all followed Wendy and saw a heavily bruised man laying on the ground.

"Colonel Arcadios!" Yukino exclaimed as they ran towards the man lying motionlessly on the ground. Erin was about to start healing him when Natsu pushed her away and shook the weak man making the others sweatdrop.

"Hey!! Are you okay??!! Wake up!!" Erin felt making Natsu go unconscious for what he's doing and was about to do the deed when she felt another presence besides them. Her eyes widen when she senses the magic. "Duck!!"

They were startled at Erin's voice but nonetheless duck at the last minute when they sense the magic attacking them. A purple liquid passed through them and they were shocked when the ground melted.

'Acid?' Erin thought when she felt another magic presence. A weird looking man holding a flag and a weird tic raised his flag and all of them suddenly felt light. She then saw a flower blooming and a woman appeared in the middle.

"There's another?!"

Erin saw the papers form a woman as they all look a bit smug which irks Erin. Arcadios suddenly speaks, gaining their attention. "They are an independent squad that supports the country in the shadows... The country's greatest executioners - The Hungry Wolf Knights."

Fairy Tail mages narrow their eyes as they look at the said executioners. "They're the reason why no one escapes the Palace of Hades alive."

Erin knew they could beat these so-called executioners but the problem is the time it takes for them to beat them. She needs to get to the eclipse door as soon as possible and she can't leave the others.

She was pulled out of her thoughts when the man in the middle spoke. "By the special authority granted to The Hungry Wolf Knights, an independent squad of Fiore... we will now execute the law breakers."

Erin gritted her teeth as she reconsiders using teleportation magic but, 'With my current use the backlash of it will be a pain in the ass. Especially if the eclipse gate is close by, it'll recognize me.' Erin internally sighs as she watches

They were suddenly drawn to Natsu's laugh which sounds like he thinks the joke was funny but to others, a mockery. The side of her mouth lifted up a bit as he saw Natsu give his honest comments while Arcadios reprimanded him.

'Magic meant to kill, huh.' Erin watched her comrades enthusiastically challenge the executors while the latter exuded confidence which meant to Erin that they're really professional at what they do.

"You do not fear the Hungry Wolf Knights? You ignorant criminals." His gaze sharpened as they felt the sudden rise of magic power. "I will return you to the soil of Fiore." The man in the middle said as the two women stepped forward with the black haired one holding a red paper.

"Time to go, Cosmos." "Kamika and my beautiful dance, right?" The pink haired one answered as the one named Kosmos blew the red paper which multiplied and ignited. "Paper Storm: Red Dance!" The swirl of papers attack them as Natsu runs in front of it with a blazing fist.

"I'll just burn them away!" Natsu roared as he pushed his magic towards the enemy's but was shocked as the latter's paper magic cut through his flames. "It isn't burning?" Lucy asks, shocked as she looks at the female wizard then to Natsu.

The female wizard named Kamika chuckles as she presses the red paper on her mouth. "The red paper is the spirit of flame. Now, be scattered like ashes!!" The red paper grew larger as the others widened their eyes in surprise.

"Tenryuu no Hokou!"

The red papers were destroyed as the others cheered when a plant suddenly emerged from beneath her feet. "Pretty! A pretty dancing doll... this is a corpse flower that blooms blood!" The large flower swallows Wendy whole as Natsu looks at it in shock.

"Wendy!"

Suddenly, a blur went past him as the flower burst with Mirajane standing in front of it in her Sitri form. Mirajane looks at the enemies seriously as Wendy sighs in relief. Suddenly, a burst of thorn-like vines aim at the clueless Lucy and Yukino which Natsu saw.

They were saved by Pantherlily and Natsu as the former cut the plants. Immediately, another enemy attacks Lily as the former smashes his fist on the ground, creating a purple liquid and Lily dodging. The fairy tail members couldn't adjust yet as Kamika sent another wave of attack.

"Purple Dance!" "What is this?!" Natsu exclaimed as the other's movements were restrained. "My body won't move!" Mirajane said as the others tried to move meanwhile, Erin watched with expressionless face taking in everything that was happening in front of her, brushing off the magic that came her way.

'This is not what I came for.' Erin was a bit pissed on what was happening as she waited for everyone to be finished trading magics. She didn't really like what is happening right now and it's starting to infuriate her.

"The purple paper is the spirit of restriction." Kamika said as the others began to float as they saw a huge flower sucking them in. Erin quickly dispelled the magic that surrounded her and stood on the ground as she was about to help her friends when she saw Wendy act first.

"Affliction Recovery Magic, Lese!" Wendy chanted as she released her friends from being bound by the purple paper. "But, what do we do about that?!" Pantherlily asks as they all face the large flower that was sucking them in.

Natsu gritted his teeth as his fist blazed. "Break it!" He shouted as the others agreed while Lucy looked nervously at them. "I have a bad feeling about this."

Erin watched on as the area was shrouded with brightness before a large explosion occurred. She bit her lower lip as she watched her friends while weighing her pros and cons at the situation at hand. But, whatever happens, it'll be a pain in the ass.
