Chapter 28

The next morning while having breakfast they all were involved in the usual conversation with one another when Mr.Sikandar informed them about a dinner they were invited to by some of their family friends.

"Salaar I want all of us to attend this dinner, so please everyone be ready on time."

"I don't really feel like going anywhere."
Mrs.Sikandar complained to her husband.

"Salma I know you don't feel like it but I still want you to come. There is a special I reason I want all of us to attend this."

"What special reason baba?"
Salaar asked him.

"You know my friend Haroon very well right! Who is also my business partner, he is the one hosting this dinner so I want all of you to meet his family. Since a few months Haroon has been indirectly hinting at something and for the same reason he has invited us all tonight."

"What do you mean?"
Mrs.Sikandar who was now curious asked her husband.

"What I mean is that I think Haroon wants to turn our friendly and business relations into more personal and familial ties."

"Baba will you just come straight to the point."
Salaar who was clearly annoyed with these riddles. Izah and Sana were also listening carefully now.

"He is interested in Sana for his son Abdullah. He has hinted the same alot of times and today he specially invited the entire family. And to be honest I don't see anything wrong in this. So I want all of you to come today and then think about this and let me know what you decide."

Hearing all of this Sana actually was shocked this was the last thing she was expecting right now.
Izah slightly nudged her shoulder and smiled at her, to which Sana just rolled her eyes.

"Ohh okay! I have met Abdullah a few times he seems to be a nice guy, let's see."
Salaar said thoughtfully.

"Really Sikandar? Are you sure that Haroon bhai actually meant this?"
Mrs.Sikandar asked her husband who actually was happy after hearing all of this.

"Yess I am sure."

"Then I will go definitely."
She was now very excited for today's dinner.

"Maama why are you getting so excited?"
Sana asked her mother with a puzzled expression.

"Because I can't wait for you to get married."

"Oh my god aren't you thinking too much, and will you not ask me about what I have to say about this! Haa Baba?"
She looked at all of them .

"Ofcourse darling, we will ask you, your decision will be the last and final. But first I want you to meet him get to know him a little and then let me know what you decide."
Mr.Sikandar assured her daughter.

"But baba mom seem to be in a hurry I guess. She has already finalised everything in her head I suppose."

"Oh don't you worry dear sister, we all just want the best for you. And if you like him, only then we will move forward with any of this."
Salaar also assured her sister.

"And beta I am in no hurry I just want to see you happy and settled Sana. I only have two wishes left now, after Saad now I only have both of you and now I only want two things before I die."
All of them tensed a bit hearing this. Mrs.Sikandar was getting all enotional now.
