SAAD's pov

I woke up at the ring of the alarm, it was 5 in the morning I had to reach the airport in about an hour, Salaar would be out max around 6:30. He obviously told me to just send a car to get him and there was no need for me to come but I wanted to go, its been so long since we had last met and now he was finally coming just for me and I just can't wait to meet him.
My brother can be tough at times, he can be stubborn at times but when you get to know him he is the kindest and nicest person ever. Even though he is just two years older than I am he has always treated and protected me like a kid. Last two years have though distanced us a bit because we no longer meet or talk regularly but the love is the same it can never change for both of us.
I took a shower got dressed up and after taking my keys went downstairs, in the living room maama was sitting while talking with our maid, she was preparing all of Salaar's favourite dishes and so was up early to get everything prepared. I greeted her and then after having tea I left, I told maama that we all will have breakfast together with Salaar.
I started the car and felt like talking to Izah but since I knew she would be sleeping so i just left her a text sayng good morning and an I love you.
I started driving towards the airport it was already 5:45. The only thing on my mind was meeting Salaar. I had left him a message that i'm on my way to the airport so that when he switches on his phone after landing he would know that i'm coming.

SALAAR'S POV

As I exited the airport through the arrival gate a cold breeze welcomed me, the weather was quite chilly in Lahore at this time of the year though not as cold as London but still cold.
I was coming to Pakistan after almost a year now, I was happy for the fact that I am going to meet my family but also a part of me wanted to run away and go back. I had my personal reasons to leave Pakistan but at the occasion of my brother's wedding I had to come.

Saad was not just a younger brother but he loved him like his kid he always wanted his happiness. HIS HAPPINESS, the reason why Salaar Sikandar  wanted to stay away from him and this place, he never wanted anything to go wrong with his brother's life.

As I switched on my phone I got a text a from Saad that he is on his way I had asked him to just send a car but he said he is going to come himself to pick him up. It was already 6:30 when I came out and started to look for him when I didn't find him I called him to tell the gate number I was at just in case he went to the wrong one. His phone was not reachable I tried calling several times but no answer then I texted him the same.
After waiting for some more time and after failing to reach his phone I called my mother but even she didn't answer. If Saad had not texted me saying that he is coming I would have thought that he  forgot and was probably still sleeping but now I was worried why isn't he recieving my calls. After about half an hour when even my parents did not answer their phone i decided to take a cab and go home to find out what the hell is wrong with all of them.
I reached home in about half an hour and when I entered my mother came running to me and hugged me.

"Oh Salaar! How are you my son?" She asked as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Maama i'mgood. But first tell me why haven't you been recieving my calls. I have been calling you since an hour."

"Beta my phone is in my room i didn't hear it ringing and your baba is probably still sleeping, i was in the kitchen preparing for the breakfast. Where is Saad btw?"

"Maama that's why i have been calling you, i waited for Saad for about half an hour but he didn't come and also his phone is not reachable i jst got a text from him at about 5:45 saying that he is on his way but he never came and even both of you weren't picking up my calls so i got worried and took a cab." Salaar blurted out worriedly.

"But beta - "

Maama could not complete her sentence as we heard the landline ringing in the living room so went in the living room. Baba had already picked up the phone and was listening to whoever was on the other side. It seemed he froze on the spot.

"Baba who is it?" I questioned him.
He looked at me with shock in his eyes unable to speak.

"Baba who was it tell me? What happened?" I almost raised my voice.

"It was... uhh... it was t-the..it was from the h-hospital." He stuttered
My heart pounded in my chest please let Saad be alright please let not anything happen to him please god please.

"Saad met with an accident." Baba nearly whipsered but both of us had heard him clearly.
