Both of them stayed till the end, they were now the only guests left. Amna aunty insisted them to stay longer as she didn't get enough time to talk to them with all the other guests around.
Salaar was busy talking to Ayaan, Izah and Mrs. Amna  were sitting around one of the tables and were having a conversation about Pakistan and how She really misses Pakistan.

"I really wish Sikandar bhai and Salma bhabhi could make it, these are the few occasions where one gets to meet everyone otherwise everyone is busy in their own lives." Mrs. Amna said thoughtfully.

"Aunty they really wanted to come but Baba had some prior engagments and Mama has not been keeping well these days that's why they couldn't make it." Izah replied.

"Yes I know about Salma bhabhi's health, and after what she has been through the pain of loosing a child i can only imagine, may Allah give her strength. The last time i came to Pakistan was two years ago after Saad's death, i saw the condition she was in, and not only her but the entire family. Salaar has really been the support system for everyone."

She was saying symphatetically. Izah simply nodded, she couldn't compose a reply, this was not something she could casually talk about. Mrs. Amna must have noticed her uneasiness so she patted her shoulder and said
"It must have been very hard for you too, just a week before your wedding and such a tragedy. But i am happy for you and Salaar, this was all Allah's will and he never makes bad decisions for us." She smiled at Izah and she simply smiled back. In that moment Ayesha came and sat next to her mother.
"Ayesha have you met Izah, look she is so pretty mashallah. She and Salaar look so perfect together." Mrs. Amna said so lovingly, she was a very generous and kind lady.

"Yes mom Salaar did introduce me to her. I was just telling Salaar how all of us should meet more often just like the old days. Mom i think we should visit Pakistan soon it's been so long."

"Yes Ayesha is right aunty, all of you should come to Pakistan. Mama and Baba will be so happy to meet you."

"Yes beta even i have been thinking about it let's see we should plan something soon."

"By the way Izah what do you do, are you a housewife? Till where  have you studied?" Ayesha questioned abruptly.her wierd tone didn't go unnoticed by her mother and she glared at her.

"Not much Ayesha, i just have studied law from America and now i have been practicing in Pakistan for two years."

"That is amazing mashallah!"
Mrs. Amna replied.

"What about you Ayesha?"
Izah asked her.

"I have done fashion designing from London,  that's when me and Salaar became good friends. We used to hang out together almost all the time."
Just then Salaar came and sat next to Izah and smiled at her, she smiled back, that is exactly what she has been doing for most part of the evening, smiling at people most of them she dosen't know.

"Come Salaar i was just telling Izah about how we used to hang out together all the time in London. I miss those days so much."

"Obviously Ayesha, in a different country around unknown people if you get the company of someone from your family, it really gets easier."
Salaar gave Ayesha a reply, and she simply nodded.

"Salaar i was just telling Izah how perfect you both look with each other. May God bless both of you." Mrs. Amna smiled at both of them with such kindness in her eyes.
They looked at each other and then looked away.

"Amna Aunty now we should leave it's already late."
Salaar stood up from his place and so did Izah and they both left for their hotel.

SALAAR's POV

Lying in bed thinking about the evening spent at Amna aunty's place i asked her,
"So im sure you are not nervous anymore, see i told you that Amna aunty is really sweet."
I looked at her as she was lying on her back looking straight up at the ceiling and then she looked at me.

"Yes aunty was really sweet, she made me feel very comfortable, it was nice meeting her."

"And by the way Ayesha can be a bit wierd at times so even if she says something don't mind."

"Why would i mind i have better things to do in life. Well, It seems you both were really close?"
Her statement made me smile, and she obviously noticed that smile. Her tone made it quiet evident that she had been observing her behaviour. Which for some reason made me happy.

"What? why are you smiling, ohh you must be smiling remembering the good old days spent with her back in London. Good."

"Izah? Is that you being sarcastic, Oh my God!"
She started to look at the ceiling again, and i kept looking at her.

"Why would i be sarcastic i was just saying in general." She said while rolling her eyes at me.

"Anyways listen, tomorrow we have time so we can go around the city, because after that for the next three days the wedding functions will keep us busy, and then we have our flight back to Pakistan. So if there is any specific place you would like to visit we can go."

"Sana has given me a list of things she wants from here so maybe we can go shopping. So let's go to the Dubai mall?" She had a questioning look on her face.

"Wherever you want, so Dubai mall it is then."
I was so sleepy that now my eyes were almost closing and the last thing i saw before dozing off was her beautiful face.

"Goodnight Salaar!"
That Was all i heard.
