At breakfast, Sivaangi announced as casually as possible that Ashwin was visiting Damu Appa as well. But her heart was beating fast, and she hoped to manage her parents' questions. Mr and Mrs Krishnan looked up from their plates at her.
"Ashwinnumaa? Appo Pugazhum Balavum?" her mother asked.
"Pugazhnaavum, Balanaavum innaikku Trichykku poiduvaanga, maa. Avangalukku store opening onnu irukku. Naanum Ashwinnum pesittu irunthappo avarrum Damu appave paaka varaarnnu sonnaaru. "Ashwinukku trouble-ah irukaathaa? Avaru rhombe busyaa irrupaare, Sivaangi. Ethukku avarukku kashtam?" Mr Krishnan said, shaking his head.
"Illai illai, avarukku oru problemmum kidaiyaathu. Appadi avarnaale ennai veetle drop panna mudiyalenaa, naan Damu appakitte solli ennai irakki vida solren. Neenga worry panna vendaam. Ungalukku kacheri irrukkule, neenga rest pannittu aare amara kelambunge, pa."
"Sivaangi, ellarukkum velai irrukkum. Nee avange kitte check pannittu ithellam sollu. Pugazh anna kootittu povaaru, Damu Saar irakki viduvaarnnu overa liberties eduthukkurathum seriyille."
"Haiyoo, ennakku ellam theriyum, pa. Naan antha maari eppo pannirukken?"
Looking at her accusingly, Sivaangi's mother said, "Pannuve. Nee ellame adam pidichi panna koodiya aalthaan. Engalukkuthaane theriyum."
"Neenge ennoda family. Athu vera ithu vera, ma. Appa, neenge ennai pathi worry panne vendaam. Ashwin paathupaaru. Naanum ungallukku appappo message panni update pannuven."
"Sivaangi, Ashwin vanthuttone unga appaave vendamnnu sollittiye?" Her mom, teasingly.
On hearing that, Sivaangi defensively, "Athellam kidaiyaathu! Ashwinthaan ennai kootittu porennu sonaaru. Appo naan appakku easyaa irukkummennu nenachi okay sollitten."
"Seri seri, idly thondaiyile maatikka pothu, Sivaangi. Ashwin paavam. Un koode showle work panna appramum avarukku theriyale ennoda pillai vaayai thorandha mooda maatannu. Risk eduthu avaru unkooda Damu Saar veetukku poraaru. Antha paiyyanne pottu vaatiraadhe."
"Ammaaaaa, unnoda nakkal irukke...ayioooo mudiyalaiye...naan poi readyaavuren. Ashwin ten thirtykku varen sonnaaru. Please avar munnadi intha kindal ellaam vendaam. Ennakkunnu oru reputation irrukkku. Please Amma. Appa, you too. Nandri."
Bowing jokingly, Sivaangi got up and walked to the kitchen to wash her plate.
She was relieved they didn't ask any questions. Sivaangi valued her parents and was very grateful for their trust in her and support for her. Even if she liked Ashwin, she would be careful not to disappoint them with her actions.
She then sent a message to Damu Appa's daughter, Akshaya, to alert her that she intended to make a surprise visit with Ashwin. Akshaya responded immediately that her father would be home and very happy to see them.
Sivaangi then sent a good morning greeting to Ashwin.
"Good morning, Mannaa! It's now my turn to tell you...Manam vittu unmai mattum unnodu pesida vendum...in 2 hours!"

Ashwin was up at 6 am that morning. Armed with only seven hours of sleep, he got up determined to bake her the macarons he had promised at the show, where they won an award for being the trending pair. He wasn't sure if they would still be trending among the audience years later, but he hoped to trend in her heart for a very, very long time.
Looking at the finished products proudly, he thought to himself," Ashwiney! Varevaa! Romancele kaadhal mannan kamale minjitte da! Theritte Ashwiney theritte."
