"Put it back" Mattia says

"Put what back?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"I saw you put that lip balm in your shirt" Mattia ignores eye contact "put it back"

"It's fine, I'm not going to get caught" I said

"I don't care put that shit back on the damn shelf!" he whisper shouts

I widen my eyes and put the lip balm back

Mattia and I have been hanging out more, he's also been sleeping over my house a lot, he told me he got into an argument with kairi and Alejandro so I told him that whenever he doesn't want to deal with them he can always come to my place

I've been slowly starting to steal more since that day me and Mattia stole from the gas station, I just love the euphoric feeling it gives me

Mattia hasn't raised his voice nor got mad at me at all in these past few weeks we've been hanging out together, which is why i decided on putting the lip balm back, he wouldn't be mad if it wasn't something to be mad about

Right now me and Mattia were grocery shopping, he insisted on paying since he's always at my house eating my things

"Thank you" Mattia says as he saw I put the lip balm back

"Mmh" I hummed as I crossed my arms

"Your mad?" He asks

He has no right in telling me not to steal when he's a fucking murder who probably steals stuff all the time

"Nope" I answered

He sighs "I told you I'll pay for whatever you want I don't know why you would even consider stealing"

"What's the point of paying when you can get it for free" I shrug my shoulders

"Do you hear yourself?" Mattia said as he shook his head "since when did you start having an attitude because I don't let you steal? Your dads a damn cop for fucks sake, what will he think if he knew his daughter was shoplifting"

"ironic coming from you isn't it" I say rolling my eyes

"I'm not having this conversation with you" Mattia said walking away with the grocery basket

I groaned before I followed behind him

"I'm sorry" I say and Mattia stops walking

"You better mean it" he turns around

"I do" I said

"Come one let me pay for these things so we can leave" he said looking at the basket full of things

I quickly walk next to him as we walked up to a cashier together

When we got to my apartment I began cooking some pasta for Mattia and me

"You sleeping over today?" I stir the pasta as Mattia sat on the couch

"Can I?" He answers

"Yeah" I answered

"I'm going to have to go to my house to get some clothes" he groans

"You never did tell me why you guys got into an argument" I say talking about kairi, Alejandro, and him

He froze before opening his mouth "you know how Alejandro is with his annoying ass smart mouth"

"Why don't you just talk to him" I said "you guys still work together so might as well get along"

"Nah I'm good" Mattia said

I frowned before focusing back on the food

"Look don't worry about that shit okay?" I heard Mattia get up the couch and walk towards me

"Ok" I answered quietly

"It smells good" he smiles at me

"It's almost done" I assure him and he nods

When I finished cooking we both sat down and ate

"Thanks for buying the groceries" I say

"Thanks for not stealing" he caught me off guard

Why does he care if I steal or not, he's the one who got me to steal anyways

"Why is me stealing a big deal for you?" I ask

"Because it's not the Isabella that I met and like" he answered

"But your the one who—"

"I know and I should've never done that" he interrupts me "i know you don't want to hear this but your using stealing as a way of coping from the whole Alyssa drama"

I disconnected the eye contact

"I know you miss her but you can't be stealing, your going to get caught one way or an other, do you really want to see the disappointment in your dads face when he finds out?"

"No" I quietly answer feeling a bit ashamed at the fact that a murder is giving me the whole 'this is wrong' speech like if I was a little kid

"Just finished your food, we can watch a movie when your done" he says as he rubs my back

When we finishes eating we moved to the couches and watched rango

My head was leaning against Mattias shoulders, I take my head off him before looking up at him

"Somethings bothering you?" I ask as I noticed his face expression

"I'm just really worried about this whole stealing thing" he said and tilt my head

"If it bothers you so much I'll stop" I tell him "I won't do it again"

He sighs and turns his head to face the tv

"I know something that we can do that will take your mind off the whole stealing stuff" I say

"And what's that?" he looks at me again

"This" I whisper before getting on his lap

"You think I'll work" he asks with a small smirk

"Oh I know I'll work" I said before attaching my lips to his
