Win Their Game

Smile again the next day,
Last night you cried yourself to sleep.
Keep the ember glow,
Never fall down to your foes.

They shoot you with their words,
They drown you to your demons,
They burn you with each look,
They kill you by breaking your heart.

Holding on for so long,
Too scared to let it go.
Knowing it would show,
You would've fell too low.

Don't let them extinguish your flame,
It's too early to give up their game.
Count on me to save you,
I will never let you drown.
