                  Strangers Again

"Good morning, how are you?"
"I'm good, how about you?"
"I'm good too."
"Goodnight, sweet dreams."

Conversations start as small talk,
Like we were a baby learning to walk.
We talked and I saw you different,
My feelings? You tried to hinder it.

We'll become friends and grow close,
Talk about secrets we don't with others.
we'll look at each other with jokes in our eyes
And we'll go to places that only we know.

Then the talk will come to an end
We'll type messages but never hit send
See each other laughing with others
We'll become strangers once again

"Good morning, how are you?"
"I'm good, how about you?"
"I'm fine, thank you."
"Goodnight, sweet dreams."

How do you delete someone from your memories?
How do you say "Hi" after everything that's happened?
How do you look at them as a stranger and not anything else?
How do you wish to start over when they don't?
