Chapter 14

"Bang Christopher Chan."

Filing behind the string of students, Chan walks up to the podium once he hears his name being called. While have his diploma-handing picture taken, a bright smile grows on his features as he hears familiar voices emerging from the crowd of parents and students. It was obviously his boyfriends as well as his family.

Now walking off to the sides to take extra pictures with Chan's fellow graduating classmates, they meet up in our own group. Despite being a freshly graduate, Chan has only a few friends his age as the rest were scattered throughout the school's ranging grade level. For example, the closest to him in age was another student that was quite studious... In one thing only... and that was dancing. I know you know Lee Know, or as everyone calls him, Lee Minho. Then on the flip side, you've got the maknae who is in his final year of middle school and as well as the pride and joy to his pseudo-parents Bang Chan and Lee Minho, Yang Jeongin. For the middle children, you of course have the "twins", Jisung and Felix, the holder of braincells, Seungmin, the local baby llama, Hyunjin, and finally the baby who isn't actually the baby, Changbin. Although that may seem a lot, just know, you are not to ask how they--or more like Chan--found each other because Chan can and will go on and on forever as if he personally birthed each and every child.

"Minho! Over here." Chan gestures towards the boy across the fields while greeting his presence. As Minho was summoned to where Chan was, he was suddenly near-tackled to the ground by a dog-like boy.

"Seungmin! Why the hell are you here? You can't be down here already and you know that," Now scolding and berating the younger boy, Chan approaches them and wraps his arms around Seungmin's shoulders. Innocent to the situation, Chan stares confused at ranting male as he just appeared to wait for Minho to calm down while Seungmin, on the other hand, has his arms cross against his chest and rolling his eyes. "Hyung, are you just gonna stare at me like that? You know Seungmin can't be down here; the ceremony hasn't ended yet."

"Minho, you know Seungmin better than this; he isn't going to listen to anyone--plus, how and why he is here is not that important--for Pete's sake, we just graduated, have some fun! Although, Seungmin, you do know you can't be here, right?" Chan begins to defend the smirking young boy but once Chan turns to him, his mischievous features soon falls. Receiving a hesitated nod from Seungmin, Chan brightens back causing the younger to shiver in mix of fear and relief.

"See, Minho, Minnie here knows what he did wrong--actually, don't do this again; I prefer not to defend you when it comes to Minho."

After Chan's poor defense, Minho just lets it go as he rolls his eyes at his hyung. Chan, on the other hand, then sudden pulls Seungmin closer towards him to whisper his semi-threat which Seungmin nodded back at.

"--Congrats on graduating!" Walking in to join the crew, both Changbin's and Jisung's voices chimes in. Turning towards the rest of the approaching voices, the eldest (plus Seungmin) notice the rest of their "kids" following behind Changbin like ducklings.

"How did you guys down here? The whole thing isn't over yet." It was then Chan's turn to question the younger members, however, with the clear smile on his face, none of them left it unnoticed that Chan was just as happy as his kids were there to support the two graduates.

"Chris! Chris!" Hannah calls out across the house as her fast, rhythmic footsteps can be heard throughout the hallways as she makes her way towards her older brother's room. Despite the door being half closed, Hannah continues to push through the door forgetting to knock beforehand.

Walking into the Chan's room, Hannah would witness a sight that was slightly out of context. For instance, on Chan's bed, Jisung was currently in Changbin's embrace as they just (consensually) bullied one another and essentially lived in their own bubble. On the other hand, Chan was at his desk by the newly bursted open door. Now, this is to note that Chan was the current "responsible" student as he was busying himself with college work and projects that could be done a weeks later.

"You could've knocked, you know?"

"Welp, that is true... Anyways, while everyone is here, you guys can walk Berry. Bye."

Once Hannah leaves the room, Berry comes excitedly into the room and tries to climb into Chan's lap. Chan picking her up, grants the wish and even showers her with pets and affection. As if on que, both Jisung and and Changbin would join in on the petting of Berry before heading off to a nearby park for a walk.

After some time waking to the park and play with Berry, the trio along with Berry sit under a tree to enjoy the shade and rest. Chan sits against the tree with Jisung wrapped in Chan's embrace. On the other hand, Changbin's head rests on the eldest's outstretched leg while Berry conveniently curls up on top of Changbin's stomach. To say the least, all of the boys plus Berry were in bliss as they appear to just wallow in each other's presence and existence.
