Rings fill and bounce through the halls as it signals for the beginning of lunch. Students flood the halls as they lead to their various destinations for their hour break. As I get up from my desk, I hear the all so familiar footsteps tunneling their way in my direction. Turning myself, I brace for the impact as I catch the energetic third year boy in my arms.

"BINNIE! Oh, how have I missed you!" with a fairly clingy Jisung practically shouting in my ear, he latches on me like a koala seeking affection as he snuggles his face in my neck.

"Oh my god, Jisung. I seen you like—what? two hours ago?" I let a chuckled slip from my lips as my arms wrapped around his body prevented him from falling. In protest, he lift his head as I practically hear his pouting.

"Two hours too long."

After his whine-fest, Jisung finally gets back onto his feet and we head to our "hideout" where student traffic is little to none. Passing around the food we disliked, we sat in comfortable silence while proceeding to eat our meals until he decides to break the silence.

"Do you believe in soulmate?"

Looking up, I noticed the genuine curiosity sweep across his face. Even if I refuse to admit it, but I found his expression immensely adorable. Maybe it just has to do with, the fact, I like him. However, before I could get lost in my thoughts, I notice the drawn silent between us as I realize I have not yet answered him.

"I-i guess so... Do you?"

"I mean... I would want to believe it's true," suddenly pausing, his glaze falters to the ground seeming almost ashamed of his answer to such an open ended question. As he continued, his tone is noticeably softer with-what it seems-laced in embarrassment. "It seems nice to search for the one even if you wouldn't know who it is."

"Alright, alright. I'll give a real answer," I ramble freely and with near to no end as I desperately (?) didn't want him to feel embarrassed nor uncomfortable. "Each and everyone of us should have a soulmate whether it be platonic or not, or multiple or single. I mean of we didn't, why would there be reasons for relationships and sharing happiness..."

My word trail off my tongue as I lost the words to continue. However, looking up, I noticed his (adorable) immersive stare whenever he give his undivided attention and is in complete listening-mode. I almost didn't realize the smile that soon crawled into my face.

We continued our lunch as the talking never seem to stop nor had an end. Peaceful ramble and strings of random words fill the atmosphere as so did laughter.

Just as Sungie was about to grow another string of words, I turn my attention to the approaching presence. Adverting my attention, I noticed Sungie did as well due his previous words trail off as if the road was abandon and unkept.

"Hello, my name Bang Chan and I am the the new kid."
