"Damn is it that good?" He said looking at the both of us. "Yess!" Jaeda and I said at the same time making me laugh. "You done Jaeda?" I said grabbing my plate. "Mhm." She nodded sliding her plate to me and jumping down out of her chair. I went over to the sink and washed the dishes since I didn't wanna leave a mess and felt hands wrapped around my waist. "Lil boy get off me." I laughed.
"I wanna talk to you." He said. "About?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. "Jaeda." He sighed and I nodded. "Well let's go upstairs." I shrugged. I walked upstairs with Antonio and saw Jaeda playing with her Barbie dolls.
"Whatchu needed to talk about?" I asked closing the door. "It's like ever since she told me what was going on at her house I feel like a deadbeat ass dad cause how the fuck I ain't notice that. And he touching her and shit fuck nah." He shook his head and sat down. "Antonio that don't make you a deadbeat.. you didn't know and you can't change that but now you do so you can keep her here and do something about it. I didn't tell you this but she said she wanted a new mommy.. and ion want her to get attached to me and shit don't go how you expect between us." I said and he nodded.
"You right you right, but ion even know if Bria gon let her move with us." He bit his lip. "Hold up who's us?" I laughed. He got me fucked up. "Me and you." He said smiling. "Who said I was moving in with you?" I asked seriously. "Chill I'm just talking." He chuckled. "Mhm but you just need to talk to her and him and if they don't let you keep Jaeda then you gotta take em to court. Shit have both they asses in jail."
"Mane ion wanna deal wit his ass can't I jus put a bullet in his head?" He whined. I smacked my lips and crossed my arms. "Dude you can't kill everybody you got a problem with. I get you mad but that's not gon give Jaeda any closure especially when she get older and starts to understand." "Miyah." she said softly from the other side of the door
"Yea?" I said opening the door "I hurting." She pouted. "Where it hurts baby?" I bent down to her level. She pointed to the bruises that were still on her arms. "Okay we gonna make it feel better." I smiled and picked her up. I walked downstairs to get her some ice and tylenol.
ANTONIO POV
The way Jaeda already got a relationship with Miyah made me like her dat much more. This the type of mom Jaeda needed but didn't get and I fucking hate myself for not realizing something was wrong.
"Dada can me and Miyah go to the park?" Jae asked. "Mhm you want me to come with y'all?" I got up. "No just me and Miyah." She smiled. Damn that hurt.. "Ight dada love you." I kissed her forehead. "I love you too dada." She ran back downstairs and I followed her.
"What dada said? She asked putting Jaeda shoes on "He said yes we can go." Jae nodded. "Okay and we gonna get ice cream after." Miyah smiled. "Damn y'all really forgetting about me." I sighed sitting on the counter.
"No we're not." Miyah said grabbing her phone and picking Jaeda up
"Tony come take my picture." She said handing me her phone. "Alright and don't call me Tony." I took her phone as we all walked outside. "Why you gotta be so fine ma?" I handed her the phone back. "Ion know I just am." She shrugged tryna be funny.
