We we all sitting in a carriage and taking about it plan to get across the fold And kaz the lecturing the conductor

" I don't hire you to simply get us across the fold,your with us because you smuggle grisha out of the little palace and That's the location of our target"

"Alleged"
Kaz shot back

I was still super uncomfortable about kidnapping my best friend but I didn't really have a choice
I also wondered what they were going to do with me when we got there,I mean people at the little palace know me.one of my childhood friends,Zoya,will for sure recognise me.

But after a while I found out that they planned to use me and a heartrender to get inside while they take Alina,which I hated the idea of her being in danger.

But when we got there she was gone.
Taken by ruthless grisha hunters and I was immediately scared.
Growing up in the castle and the little palace at the same time,I heard at lot of story's about the druskelle and Jesper grabbed my hand to Comfort me as I,as everyone knew,am a tailor.
Kaz kept on glaring at us though
But mainly glaring Jesper's hand enveloped in mine

When we got back outside the conductor tried to tell us maybe we should give up but kaz gave him and stern look and told us all that we were in this now...and that's there's no going back.

The conductor told us what he needed and kaz and I when to get a goat but not before kaz warned Jesper

"And Jesper.just the coal. No detours."

When we got to the goat selling area I was super excited and kaz looked at me funny.

"why are you so happy their just goats"

"Okay 1.their adorable 2.I was never allowed to be around animals in the castle or the little palace.The queen is strict and she likes things perfect"

"So you were never allowed to do anything?" He said with curiosity and I think a bit of pity in his eyes,which I didn't need.

" well no, i've got to go to fancy dinners and have archery lessons and learn how to ride horses,I was just never really aloud to be a kid." we stopped waking so that he could listen more "it was like one minute I was just this child from the orphanage the next minute I was chosen to be one of the Queens lady's maids and the next I find out I'm one of the most rare grishas to ever exist.It was sorta like I was thrown into a world with super high expectations and no idea how to for fill them"I said with a slight smile

"I'm sorry"
Kaz said trying his hardest to look sympathetic

"Don't be,it's not your fault and all things considered it wasn't that bad"I said and walked off to find a cute little goat

Kaz walked into the middle of a riot and made me hold on to the bit of his cane below his hand so I didn't wander off and also if someone recognised me the I'd be skinned alive for being a grisha or for being close to the royal family, The exact people they wanted to betray but when the riot finished we saw the man trying to betray his own country,the one leading the riot,stand down from the stage and shakes hands with none than the conductor...kaz went stone faced and walked us out of the crowd.
