"You are free to go home." I smile at my doctor. "It's enough to treat it at home. But monthly scheduling will be needed." I nod. Finally I get to go home.
"VIO!!" Dani shouts as he saw me. I smile and hug him. "I talked to Mel and she said we can come to her room and hang out with her and her roommate." I nod.
We head down to their room and I see DJ and Mel. "Vio this is Melanie, Mel this is Violet." I smile and shake her hand. "It's nice to meet you." she smiles. "You to Violet." I sit down on the desk chair. "Where's Jo?"
"He's getting another scan." we go quiet. "I hope they figure out what he has." Dani and DJ nod. "We all do." it goes quiet again. "Not to be rude or bombarding but Violet what do you have?" I chuckle.
"Type 2 diabetes." she nods. I'm glad it wasn't a pity look like almost everyone but Dani and DJ and well her who haven't given me that dumb look. "And you?" she smiles. "Heart Cancer. I need a new heart." she laughs.
I'm starting to like her more than being roomed with Jack.
