"Sweetie, are you ready?"
I saw my mom behind the door. Kakatapos ko lang maglagay ng lipstick. She looked at me with admirable eyes.
"You're so beautiful Naomi!" She hugged tight. I felt soft with her gestures so I hugged her back.
May mga oras na she was strict because of the corporate works but she doesn't fail to express her feelings being a mom.
"I got it from you mommy."
"Of course, imposibleng sa papa mo nakuha yan!" She said proudly as if she won a noble prize. My mom, even though she was already an adult.
There is still a time when she is childish. I chuckled, this side of her is so cute. Minsan ko lang makita ang ganitong side nya.
"Come on," hinawakan nya ang kamay ko para ayain ako bumaba. "Vincent is already downstairs."
Paglabas ko sa kwarto ko nakita agad si vincent sa baba. He was wearing a Black tuxedo with his hair that was pulled back. If you looked at it closely konti lang naman ang inayos sa kanya pero para siyang ibang tao ngayon.
Maybe ngayon ko lang sya nakita na iba ang ayos nya? Lagi kasing student vibe ang itsura nya. Ngayon ko lang nakita na iba ang kanyang pananamit ngayon. I must admit, he is so fine!
Napansin nya na bumababa na ako kaya agad itong tumayo para salubungin ako. Yumuko sya at bumati to give courtesy to my mom. Inabot nya ang kamay ko para alalayan akong makababa.
"Take care of her tonight." My mom said sweetly to him making him blush. Para namang ikakasal na ako sa scenario na ito.
"Mommy I can take care of myself! You don't have to assign him." I immediately looked at vincent.
"Sorry, wag mo pansin si mommy."
Umiling ito at ngumiti. "It's ok. I also want to do it."
This time it's my turn to blush.
Anong meron sa atmosphere na ito? I feel like I'm about to explode. Halo halo ang nararamdaman ko ngayon.
"You looked so beautiful Naomi." Yumuko ako para hindi nya makita ang pamumula ng aking mukha.
Why am I being shy all of the sudden? We have known each other for years!
"You also looked... just fine." I softly said.
"Just fine?" Inangat ko ang tingin because of the tone of his voice. Parang nag eexpect pa sya ng iba bukod sa comment ko about his looks.
Fine, I will tell him! Mamaya na lang ako magpapalamon sa lupa.
