Synopsis:

27-year-old Arata Kaizaki gets to turn his life around through a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after he was persuaded by Ryo Yoake, an employee of ReLife Research Institute, to become a test subject on an experiment that requires reliving his high school life in a year to overcome his difficulties in social interaction. He was reverted to his 17-year-old physique with promise of a job offer that is awaiting at the end of the experiment.

Review:

If 17 Again was a manhwa series but "sci-fi and self-esteem oriented" instead of "escaping a married life," it would be in the form of ReLIFE.

I really like the theme of adulthood being portrayed as a mess (it's also the same in real life though). Basically, everything in this manhwa is a process of character development and seeing how they will end up will make you proud of how far they made it. It was sad when their high school friends aren't allowed to retain memories of the ReLife test subjects. It felt like removing a significant part of your life.

This story made me realize that the three (or four) years in high school has a huge impact in your social interaction skills.

Overall, this manhwa is so good. It will motivate you to change no matter how old you are, and that you can never survive in life without a friend or two.

Favorite character/s:

Arata Kaizaki. His personality reminds me of Ryu Yamada from Yamada and the Seven Witches - outgoing, carefree, and empathetic.
