Alex was not happy as she got ready for the day. She partially wanted to blame it on her hormones, but she wasn't sure. They were going to talk to Jim later that day after his shift. Alex had the day off so she tried to think of what to say. Spock was busy on the bridge. Sometimes she wish Spock wasn't so stubborn.

It was finally time for Jim to get off his shift, so Alex started to head for the bridge. Spock was getting off as well. The turbo lift door opened and Alex stepped onto the bridge. She suddenly remembered her very first time on the bridge when Jim wanted to show her around. She snapped out of it as her brother called her name.
"Earth to Alex," Jim said as she looked at him.
"I was just remembering the first time I was on the bridge," she said as Jim grinned.
"Ah yes. Good times," Jim replied as he got up from the captain's chair. Spock followed after him.
"Sulu, you have the con," Jim said as they headed for the turbolift. The captain stood in the middle of them as the turbolift activated.
"Thought of names yet?" Jim grinned.
"Not really," Alex sighed.
"Just saying, Jim is a great name," he teased. Alex rolled her eyes as the door opened. They headed to Jim's quarters. Jim started to pour himself a drink, but then stopped.
"Oh wait, you can't have anything now," he said as he looked at Alex.
"It's fine. I don't need anything right now," she replied. Things have started to make her feel sick and she wasn't sure yet what wouldn't make her feel ill. Spock declined a drink as well.
"So I'm guessing you both want to stay on the Enterprise?" Jim said as he took a drink. Spock raised an eyebrow.
"Lucky guess," Alex said as she crossed her arms.
"I'll have to see what I can arrange... I'm sure it can be done."
"You two are both crazy if you think a kid can live on the Enterprise too," Alex said.
"Would you rather be alone on earth?" Jim said.
"I would have mom and dad," Alex scoffed.
"Just give me a few days. I'm sure I can handle Starfleet," he tried to reassure. They continued to talk for a while. Alex got tired and left, but Spock stayed behind to talk to Jim.
"Are you two okay?" Jim asked his friend.
"Alex and I are fine... she is just adjusting," Spock responded. Jim nodded his head.
"I'll help you two however I can," Jim said as Spock gave a small rare smile.
"Thank you captain."
