Before you begin reading, I'd like to put your mind at ease and assure you that this book is fully written. It has also been edited, but if you do happen to spot any errors, please point them out to me in the comments and I'll correct them as soon as possible.
This story contains a total of 53,500 words and 43 chapters. Since some of these chapters are short, I might upload two (or even three) chapters at a time to compensate, so it won't take 43 weeks for this story to become fully available. However, if you don't want to wait at all, you can find the full book on my website, laceygracelibrary.com and buy it for offline reading (and a couple of bonus chapters that will not be made available on Wattpad).
This book is partially inspired by the amazing musical Hamilton, which is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Any songs, lyrics, characters, etc. taken from the show are not mine. However, this story and the characters of this book do belong to me. If you haven't seen and/or listened to Hamilton, I highly recommend it (the full soundtrack can be found on youtube) but don't worry! This book is not fanfiction and does not rely heavily on previous knowledge of Hamilton.
Lastly, this book contains a number of potentially triggering topics. The most significant of these include child abuse, blackmail, outing, homophobia (including one derogatory term), and explicit physical violence. There will also be implied and mentioned sexual content (none shown), as well as alcohol use and alcoholic tendencies shown and mentioned. Warnings for all potentially sensitive content will be listed at the top of chapters, with the exclusion of these mild themes: grief, divorce, emotional distress, non-explicit mental health issues, bullying, and briefly mentioned harassment. If you notice sensitive or triggering content that is not warned for and should be, please let me know and I'll fix it right away.
