Eternal Adventure

You ever wonder how life would be if things had been different? You knew deep down no matter what had happened Zoro would always have been in your life, but would he have had a big impact on i?. Would you have even ended up with him? He would be a pirate and you would be well dead. Whatever could've happened...You're sure glad fate had put you here with everyone. You all still needed to catch up to everyone else, but for now as you ate meat with Luffy, who had finally awakened, chatted with Robin and Law, played with Usopp and Franky, and listened to B/FN's random rambling as you sat on Zoro's lap, you had never felt so fulfilled and at peace. Kyros had been happy to serve drinks as you all happily chatted the night away. Kin'emon and his friend drank beside Zoro as you decided to take a small step outside. Once you sat down, you took a deep breathe and thought back on everything that had occurred in your life.

Zoro sensing your presence dropped his weights and called out, " I can hear you, come out whoever is near." You walked out from behind the bushes. "Hello," Zoro stared you down after your greeting. After a few awkward stares you began to quietly snicker which soon turned to laughter. "I'm so sorry, Your hair is grass I can't help it!' Zoro glared as you laughed. Your laughter quieted down seeing him angry. "I'm sorry I just never really met a real person before. Can we start over? My name is Y/N." He continued  scowling at you. You slowly shrunk down, but you were determined to make a friend. You stuck out your hand for a handshake. Usually Zoro doesn't trust people he just met, but something told him you were trustworthy. "Zoro" he shook your hand. You smiled and thus a friendship began.

Smiling back at the memory, you didn't notice Robin take a seat next to you until she offered you a cup of tea. "Are you alright?" You nodded thanking her. "Yes I am..hey Robin did I ever tell you how I got my bracelet?" She shook her head smiling seeing you chuckle. "It was a gift from-" "Zoro?" You nodded sheepishly. "I assumed it was. You fought hard to keep it against C-P9." Laughing as she smirked, you began to tell her about the day you had received it, "It was my seventeenth birthday...."

"Happy Birthday Idiot." You smiled at him. "Thanks." He threw a box at you. "Open it." You looked down at the box. "What is it?" He glared at you. "Open it to find out." You laughed at his glare as you began opening the gift. It was a bracelet. A bracelet with a seashell attached to it. You smiled seeing it. "Thank you Zoro." He grabbed the bracelet and put it on your wrist. "It's so you have a part of the ocean with you." "I'm a sea witch the ocean's already always with me." He laughed at your words. "I know that stupid. I'm just saying so you don't forget where you started. Now get in the boat so we could go." You smiled. "Yea let's go!"

"We took off shortly after..We didn't know where we'd be going nor did we have any money. Everytime I felt at a lost out there with him, all I would do is take a look down at the bracelet and remember where we came from and what I was fighting so hard for. I haven't done that in a long time..." Robin smiled softly seeing twiddle the shell between your fingers. "That's why you don't let it go.." You nodded seeing her reach out towards you gently patting your head. "Thank you Robin..We've both have came a long way." "I agree and I'm happy we became friends Y/N." "So am I!" She stood up stretching before deciding to go back inside. You stood up as well deciding to take a small walk along the flowers that had been near by. "I hope the others are alright..I miss Chopper." You hummed before looking up smiling at the stars. The stars and the moon had always been important to you along with the sun. Most nights the moon was all you had to look up at waiting for a man you had no idea had died long before. Zoro had followed you silently worried noticing you had a small frown when you walked out. "Oi you good?" You looked back smiling at him shyly. "Yes the moon is beautiful tonight isn't it?" Zoro looked up nodding. "You said that to me before..when you woke up before going back to sleep does it mean something?" You walked to him before gently grabbing his hand. "Don't worry about it...Zoro do you remember the first time I asked you to hold me?" Zoro nodded. "Yea I had told you about Kunia for the first time that night." You nodded. "Do you really remember that night?" Zoro tilted his head as you smiled.
