Date Night

With the events of yesterday still fresh in her mind (Y/N) had officially became infatuated with Maki. Just the thought of her was enough to send the girl into la la land. She had the biggest smile on her face when she woke up the next morning.

(Y/N POV)
I yawned and stretched looking out my window. I got up and pulled out a granola bar from my dresser as I ate it in the window. I couldn't help but to smile as the breeze blew through my hair. I finished and got ready to find Panda outside my door. "You ready?" He asked. "Yeah I am." I said smiling. We walked to the track to see Toge and Maki already training. "Good morning everyone!" Panda yelled as they waved back. "Good morning Maki and Toge." I waved and blushed causing her to walk up to me. "Someone's in good spirits this morning, I wonder why." She said smirking at me and caressing my face to light up even more.

I shook it off and got ready to fight Panda. I turned to see Maki looking at me with a blank expression, I cant lose to Panda or she's never gonna let me live it down. "Ok you two, begin!" She yelled as Panda came charging at me. He began throwing punches at me, "come on (Y/N)! You've been with us long enough to know that this wont get you anywhere!" "I know!" I said going under his arm and pivoting to hit him with my elbow making him fall. I jumped up with my feet ready to stop him into the ground, "THIS IS IT!" I yelled until I hit his belly. Its so soft. He grabbed me and started tickling me. "Stop! Im gonna pee on myself! Please! I CANT TAKE IT!" I yell practically crying.

I hear footsteps to see Maki standing there shaking her head. "You two just cant act right can you?" She asked. I wiped my tears and stood up. "Maki, I want to ask you something." I said messing with my fingers. "What is it?" I immediately blushed. "Well there's this fancy restaurant and I was uhhh you know...wondering if you wanted to, and by the way its up to you... but I umm..." "Goodness Kamo spit it out!" She yelled. She started giggling, "H-Hey! Whats so funny?!" I yelled. She looked at me and smiled, "I'll take your offer, make it worth my while~" She said walking away leaving me with my soul exiting my body. "WAY TO GO (Y/N)!" Panda yelled. "TUNA!" It was all in slow motion. "What?" I say looking at them. "You have a date with Maki (Y/N)." Panda said. Me? Have a date with Maki. "HOLY SHIT! I HAVE TO GET READY!" I screamed running off.

I was freaking the fuck out. I wanted this to go off without a hitch but there was something bound to happen with my luck, it never fails. I threw on a simple sleeveless black dress that stopped a little before my knees. A necklace is a must followed by a pair of black flats. As I looked at myself in the mirror I couldn't help but to feel embarrassed. Not because I was going on a date with my crush but because I get really awkward in situations like this in general. Thinking about it gives me chills as I remember that really embarrassing incident with Mai. My watch suddenly goes off. ITS 7:00 ALREADY?!

I got up and peaked my head around the door to see no one while I zipped to Maki's room. I got to her door and knocked. "Hey Maki, its me." "Come in and wait on the bed while I finish up." I walked in and sat on the bed while I began to sulk in my existential dread. As my mind was racing I heard a door open. I looked up and see Maki standing there.
