That was my stupid alarm. Ohh , hi there I'm Aliyaah. I'm 17 and I live with my mom . My dad passed away when I was 10 and it's just been me and my mom.My mom is a nurse with a low pay we live in a one bedroom house. I have a best friend Erica and Jessica her sister Im not really friends with Jessica and yes you guessed it they twins.  Their parents are rich. We live in South Africa Cape town.  Anyways>>>

I stand up excited for a new day and i make my bed up and walk to the bathroom . I do my hygiene process and I wear my school uniform (green skirt with white shirt and a green blazer) I fix up my curly hair and tie it into 2 buns . I take my phone and walk to my mom's room .
Me: Mom, wake up lovie.
Mom: Okay. She stands up and kisses me on my forehead.
Me: I'ma prepare breakfast for us in the meantime. I walk downstairs to the kitchen . I start preparing pancakes and smoothies. 15minutes later she comes downstairs looking professional and cute.
Me: Looking good ma, who you boyfriend you gon steal.
Mom:(stares at me and chuckles)Stop it let's eat. So we ear over a light convo.
I walk upstairs to get ma bag and headphones. I walk back downstairs.
Me: Ma can I have at least R200
Mom: Baby I only have R100 with me right now.
Me: It's okay ma.
I walk out the door and I walk to the taxi rank I get there and take the first taxi to Tygervalley high school
I get there and my friend runs to me and attack me with hugs. This year we getting new Sirs and Ma'ams.
Me: Who do you think is our new register Teacher?
Erica: I think it's a woman .
Me:Let's go to class and see.
We walk to our class right after the bell rings. We get there everybody is just sitting and talking to each other. Me and Erica go sit at the back. A tall light skinned man walks in and guys he is wow.
Him: Hey y'all I'm Mr.Grey. I'm new here. I'm gonna teach you your languages. So yeah.
Me and Erica were laughing and talking at the back while Mr.Grey was talking.
Mr.Grey:Hey you 2 at the back plz tell me your names.
Erica:Erica
Me:Aliyaah
Mr.Grey:So what were you talking about.
Me: I think that is none of your business
Mr.Grey: Your attitude stinks and please get out of my class.
I walk out the door and I wait till the end of register .
Me: Erica why didn't you help me when he sent me out.
Erica:He was scary but anyways I got a boyfriend and he is a Sir here at school.
Me:Oooh you go girl.
You know school is school, after school me and Erica wait for her boyfriend Mr.Forbs.
Grey and Forbs walk towards us.
Grey:Erica you can go with your man and I guess Aliyaah you with me.
Me: No thanks I'll take a taxi home.
Grey: Please I insist.
Me:I'm good thanks.
I walk away and he drives by me and I walk home because I didn't have enough money to pay for the taxi fare.And I didn't want Grey to find out where I live. I get home and there 3 or more cars outside. My mom calls me
On the call:
Mom: Hey darling can't talk but when you get home go around the back
Me: Okay mom.
She drops the call and I walk in at the back and hear a lot of talking. I tip toe to the room. My mom comes to the room
Mom:Hey baby I'm having a meeting in the sitting room for a new job.
Me:Okay what is the job.
Mom:I will supervise at the hospitals meaning I'll be earning more money and we'll renovate this dump.
Me:That's so exciting, how did you get the job?
Mom:I did something...
Me:What did you do Mom??
