Wednesday
"Dad, are you up?" You called out while you entered the house. When you entered the living room you saw Aizawa sitting on the couch reading.
You plopped on the couch next to him. "What brings you by today?" He asked while sitting his book and reading glasses down.
"Something's on my mind. And I need to talk to you."
"Are you pregnant or something?"
You scoffed. "Yeah right."
"Well then, what's on your mind."
"Well, there's this guy."
"Do I need to take care of him?"
"No. It's not that, we've just been talking and having lunch every now and then. He's a nice friend to talk to."
"So, what's the problem?"
"I feel stuck."
"Stuck? What do you mean stuck?" It took Aizawa a minute before he understood what you were referring to.
"Oh, I get it now. Listen honey, I understand what you're going through, I really do. But, you can't keep relishing on the past. You have to move on sooner or later."
You sigh and nod. "I guess you're right."
"You might feel this way for a while, but you can't hold onto that pain forever. It's time to move on."
You give Aizawa another nod. "Okay."
Aizawa pulls you into a hug and you buried your face into his chest. "It's gonna be alright you little nugget."
"Why do you still call me that?"
"Cause it's my job you turd."

The Following Friday
"How come you can't do it Saturday?"
"Because I'm working on Saturday, I've told you already. Can't we just take a raincheck?"
"Because this is the only time she's available this month She can't..."
Momo exhales quietly as she heard Shoto go back and forth with Daphne down the hall about something.
"If he wasn't my friend I wouldn't but up with this mess." She says while pinching the bridge of her nose.
Just then, her phone goes of and a bit of relief filled her veins when Kyoka's name appeared on the screen.
"Hi Honey." She says, answering the phone.
"Hey, what do want to do for dinner tonight?" Jiro asked.
"Hmm, I've been craving Indian food lately, how about some Chicken tikka or maybe some Tandoori prawns." Momo says while swing her foot back and forth.
"Alright, I'll head to the store and pick up some ingredients."
"Can you pick up some booze too?"
"One of those days, huh?" Jiro says.
Momo sighs. "Yep, I wonder if they forgot if I'm still here."
"I wouldn't be surprised. If they're not gonna get divorced, then they should at least go to marriage counseling."
"Yeah, no kidding."
"Well, I gotta get back to work. I'll see you at home."
"Okay, I love you."
"Love you more."
Momo hangs up the phone and a few seconds later, Shoto enters.
"Did you hear any of that?" Shoto asked.
"Bits and pieces, you owe me a personal day." Momo says.
"Okay, I guess I deserved that." Shoto says while taking a seat at his desk.
"So, what was so important that you wanted me to come by for?" She asked.
"I need your advice on something."
"Which is?" Momo asked.
"Well, seeing this whole dinner thing..." Shoto sighs again.
"Take your time." Momo says.
"I can't find a way out of this." Shoto says while going to his little liquor table to make a drink.
"You didn't try telling him no?"
"You do realize this is my father we're talking about, right?" Shoto says.
"Don't remind me." Momo awkwardly coughs. "What are you gonna do?"
"Get drunk."
"Shoto." Momo sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose. "What did your brother say when he found out?"
"You don't even want to know."
"Well, I should get going. Should we talk about this later?"
"Sure. Drive safe."
"I will." Momo leaves the study.
Shoto looks down at his phone and goes into his messages.
