Chapter 6 - Revealing

No POV -

Tommy woke up and confusion swelled up his body. 'How the hell did I get to my bed?? I distinctly remember falling asleep on my bed.'

Tommy wondered for a while longer until giving up and goin downstairs for dinner. "Good Morning Tubbo-" Tommy froze.

"Tubs, who is that?" Tommy said pointing at the girl sitting at the table. He stared at her for a minute observing her.

He noticed that she had fresh bandages on her arms and legs. "Oh! Right, this is Drista! She's like us, a runaway. You won't mind if she stay's with us right?" Tubbo explained.

Tommy pondered for a bit. She looked at least three years younger than them. He sighed.

"Yeah. She can stay. I don't mind." Tommy said. He watched as Drista smiled widely. He walked towards the girl and knelt down to her level.

"If you want, I can show you where your new room will be." He said.

Drista looked at Tommy. She stared at him and got a flashback to her father before her brother left. Drista liked The color, the book shelf, the desk, and the vintage look the room had. 

She turned to Tommy and hugged him. "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" She yelled. Tommy stared at her and hesitantly hugged her back. He wasn't used to this.

The ghosts watched as the young girl bounced around the room. Pointing things out and being overly excited, and while Tommy just simply stood at the doorframe like a parent watching their kid be excited about having a new room.

Tubbo was downstairs making Drista her breakfast while listening to the commotion upstairs. He smiled. 'Maybe this is a good thing for Tommy.' Tubbo thought.

A while later Tubbo finished making everything ready. "Tommy! Drista! Time for breakfast!Tubbo yelled.

In a second Drista came rushing down with Tommy chasing after her. They all sat down and talked about random things.

Tubbo saw as Drista and Tommy bonded like a Father and Daughter. He realized that once Tommy turned 18 that he would be able to adopt Drista.

Tubbo smiled as he saw the two interact. This is now his small family. He won't let them be hurt ever again.

~Meanwhile~

Issac walked through the neighborhood. He wondered how Tommy and Tubbo where doing. He figured to visit them later.

He did need to give them money for food and self care items anyways. He then heard rushed footsteps behind him.

He turned around to see Lani, Tubbo's sister running towards him. Her mother was right behind her.

The girl hid behind him. "LANI! Come back here!" The mother yelled. The woman stopped and stared at Issac.

"Please forgive me sir. you this child. It is clear that she does not want to be with you." Issac said.

The woman scoffed. "Tch, Whatever I never wanted her anyway." She said as she walked off. (Remember this is all fake, I promise that Tubbo's mom isn't like this)

Issac turned back to the girl behind him. "Hey Lani. Want to come live with me?" Issac asked. Lani wondered for a moment.

She met Issac once, he very nice to her. She always wanted someone like that as a parent. She nodded and followed him to his house.
